As part of this endeavour, we invited Aditii Swaarup for an exclusive interview with us. She is a Leader, Entrepreneur, Coach, Mentor, Consultant, Influencer and Change Enabler. Aditii is the Founder of Creative Whirl. Let’s learn more about her incredible journey, background, and advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Aditii:

We are aware of your contribution to the ecosystem, talk us through your background and your journey, please;

I did my schooling from St. Mark’s Girls School and further pursued Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from the prestigious Jagannath Institute of Science &Technology in New Delhi. Though I was an average student at school but I was an overachiever during my bachelor’s. It was during these college years that I started tutoring.

Later, I got a college placement in a Media House during my final year and I started working full time.

In less than a year I started my first business in partnership with my Business Mentor & life coach. I parallelly pursued my Masters’s in Mass Communication.”

Post Marriage, I worked in the family business for a good 6 years which led me to a new role of Business Coach in 2017 when I started Creative Whirl. To add to my skills and knowledge, I also completed a course in Digital Marketing since the contemporary era is all about going digital and I prefer to understand the dynamics and do the job myself before I hire anyone.

My separation led me to restart my career from scratch and somehow, I landed up pursuing a certification in IELTS & Business Communication along with a Masters’s in TESOL leading me on the current path.

I started training students, then mentored trainers and led a team of 100+ trainers as their development coach. I saw success, name, fame, and money with loads of respect in these past 3 years.”

Lockdown gave me time to pursue a Master’s in Neuro Linguistic Programming along with a spiritual journey with Tarot Cards, Oracle, and healings. Which helped me unravel a lot more about myself and the people I work with. All these experiences brought me to the idea of developing something bigger – a project which will be a win-win for all. And then I came up with Aditii’s Creative Whirl.

What made you passionate about ‘Coaching’?

Even during my school and college days, I was always teaching my peers, I saw my aunts who were teachers building careers of their students and gaining so much love & respect. A little part of me wanted to be like that.

Once I started teaching IELTS, I connected with students of the age group 16-45. The sessions were always more than the English language we connected on a soul level.

With each student, the bond was different and with those little bit nuggets of knowledge about life my students experienced major shifts. Every student’s exam felt like my own, every passing score card was my victory.”

For me the classes are beyond IELTS, it’s about life skills and being their mentor for life. making sure the parent’s money is utilized, students are clearing the exam at first attempt and they have the right mindset before they step onto the foreign land. it’s about their future. It is about their future and I want them to have the best.

While I was a student, none of the teachers guided me about my skill set and reaching my true potential or about choosing the right career path. The teachers were just after the grades. I wish some had guided me the way I do with all my pupils.

Creative Whirl

‘Creative Whirl’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving

Creative Whirl simply refers to the rhythm of innovation in me. I am extremely good with ideas and putting them into practice. I am creative in terms of money-making skills. You tell me your passion and I will tell you the monetization plan. Business runs in my blood and I aspire to help everyone turn their passion into a profession.

My best friend used to call me The Money Machine. I started capitalise as a blog to vent off my creative writings as I have been a writer since my school days but I knew it will shape into something bigger and better. and every year I kept whirling in my creativity and finally reached here.”

Aditii’s Creative Whirl now is an established education platform where on one hand I am creating a trend of 1 to 1, personalized IELTS/PTE coaching breaking in the regular money-hoarding classroom sessions – guaranteeing a one-attempt passing score along with paying a deserving fee to the trainers who get only 150/hour via online platforms.

I am also open to training trainers in terms of IELTS/PTE AND BUSINESS COMMUNICATION along with setting up my online or on-site franchisees where they can do what they are best at – TEACHING and I will handle the business and training resources.

So it’s a win-win for all where –

Parents don’t have to pay for IELTS/PTE repeatedly

Students pass the exam with high scores and also learn about their career options via psychometric tests.

Teachers earn 6 figures income without handling the hassles of running a business.

Creative Whirl becomes the game changer

Apart from it I also help solopreneurs and small business owners plan and handle their online presence for as long as they can’t outsource it.

I also plan to introduce Image Consultation, Business Mindset and Life Coaching in the near future. It will be a holistic program of self-awareness and language acquisition & career building.

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?

Challenges make the journey interesting! I am building a brand for several reasons – firstly, for my estranged son so he can be proud of me when he grows up. Secondly, I want every abled female to be financially independent. Thirdly, I want women to realize the power of never giving up.

I have been through a lot in life and it taught me to be stronger. Working with so many trainers across the length and breadth of the nation I realized every lady has a pain story and they might be so good at a skill but just don’t know where to start and how to.”

Similarly, working with students made me realize they were blank about career choices or they were forced to pick up subjects by family though their heart was elsewhere.

I see these small business owners who are ignorant of the power of social media or maybe struggle to understand it but can’t afford a full-time digital marketer as they charge a bomb. I help them understand the basics and run the show on their own for as long as they can’t afford to hire someone. I love being the facilitator of such success stories. Just listening to these people and helping them figure out the best path gives me peace and joy.

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

My biggest Motivation is my Son – Punav. I am doing everything for him. To make him proud and leave him a legacy.

Secondly, I aspire to be a part of a million success stories. My beloved students and trainers are going to shine brightly and I will make sure they do!

What about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

Looking at the passing scorecards, new business ventures and receiving great feedback makes me happy. The connection I share with my students, trainers and clients empower me.

Long after the sessions and classes are over, they still remain in touch with me which means a lot. They share their progress and seek guidance all the time. They take out time to wish me on special occasions.”

The relationship turned into personal from professional, some became closest friends, some became like family. Most students are like my own children.

What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?

There are a few:

> Being a learner for life – I am always keen to learn from people, books or degrees

> Being mindful of my strengths and weaknesses

> Tarot and spirituality – they taught me to take inspired action

> Having close friends who cheered for me, supported me and never let me go astray.

> Being kind and helpful to whoever is in need. – the need is not money, sometimes it is just a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen to.

What are the business mantras you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?

My experience so far has taught me the following:

(1) To act at the right opportunity and deliver your best.

(2) Always make sure that the client is happy and achieves their goal.

(3) Always make it a win-win for all parties involved

(4) Learn to say NO – clients can be unrealistic and difficult. pull the plug when needed

(5) Not all clients are meant for you – choose your perfect fit

(6) Learn the difference between moving out of your comfort zone or putting yourself under the bus.

Please share with us, how do you motivate your clients?

I usually hear them out, I let them vent for as long as they want to and then talk at the ground level. I use tools like Wheel of Life, Psychometric Career Tests, SWOT analysis, Tarots Reading, and real-life examples.

I try to connect on a deeper level and reach the pain point. It takes follow-up chats and discussion. I let them know that I will be there at every step of the way.

I make them celebrate each win.. no matter how small. It is more about connecting with the individual and hitting the right spot with positivity and power.

You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?

I am an extremely positive person at heart by default along with being a self-motivated one. Capitalise my biggest motivation comes from my students, trainers and people I work with.  Their wins make me the happiest.

I am positive despite the atrocities in life because I have witnessed a major life alleviation in the past years. And every day, I feel blessed that I have my family who supports me all the time, friends to share my feelings with and acquaintances who admire me.”

My teacher once told me that – “why to live in someone else’s shadow when you can be your own sunshine.” and this quote got deeply engraved in my heart. All these things help me stay grounded, happy, positive and motivated to do better and be better.
