Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Abeer:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
A Path of Discovery and Transformation. I’ve walked many paths—first as a math teacher, then as a jewellery designer, and later as a cake decorator. Each chapter brought its own joy and fulfilment, yet a quiet sense of something deeper always lingered.
It wasn’t until I stepped into the role of an Integrative Nutrition & Health Coach that I truly found my calling—guiding others to transform their health and lives through mindful, nourishing choices.
How did you discover your passion?
A Turning Point in 2015. While running my cake decoration business, I became pregnant, and like many new mothers, I dove into researching everything I could about children’s health. That’s when I uncovered the harmful effects of refined sugar on immunity.
This revelation was a wake-up call. I transformed my home into a sugar-free zone and began reinventing my recipes to make them truly nourishing. What began as a personal shift quickly grew into a deeper calling. In time, I formalised my learning, studied extensively, and became a certified Integrative Nutrition & Health Coach.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
A Personal & Professional Mission. I often say my daughter was my first reason for walking this path. She gave me the initial push to explore wellness. But it was my own healing—overcoming persistent gut issues and learning to manage stress—that truly anchored my commitment.
Experiencing the profound impact of mindful health choices firsthand gave me an unshakable drive. What began as a mother’s concern grew into a mission: to help others reclaim their well-being and reconnect with their bodies, one conscious choice at a time.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
Growth is an ongoing process, and for me, it has meant:
1) Continuous learning; staying informed through research and evolving my approach.
2) Unlearning outdated beliefs; challenging old perspectives to embrace new, evidence-based insights.
3) Facing fears and stepping outside my comfort zone: Real growth happens when we push boundaries.
4) Dreaming fearlessly and working persistently, vision without action is just an idea; I commit to bringing my aspirations to life.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
The Mindset That Fuels Progress. Success is more than knowledge; it’s a blend of problem-solving, adaptability, and a passion-driven approach.
To thrive, you need:
> A solutions-oriented mindset instead of dwelling on obstacles, focus on possibilities.
> A hunger for lifelong learning: Embrace curiosity and stay open to growth.
> A strong sense of purpose—when passion drives you, progress follows naturally.
> Creativity and optimism; view challenges as opportunities to innovate.
