Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Anushree:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
I was born in the lush green city of Trivandrum and raised in the vibrant heart of Delhi. I’m the only child of two incredible souls—my father, a world-renowned senior photojournalist with AFP, and my mother, a successful entrepreneur with an unstoppable spirit.
Growing up, my home was a space of love, creativity, and endless encouragement. My schooling was at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gole Market, followed by English Honours from Delhi University. I then pursued my Master’s from Wigan & Leigh College in the UK. In fact, going to Manchester for higher studies was my mother’s manifestation—a gift that taught me my first big life lesson: the power of choice.
My life has always been a beautiful blend of curiosity, creativity, and a deep desire to understand the human spirit. As I often say, “Life doesn’t just happen to us—it happens through us.”
As my father always said, you would have only one chance to click a perfect shot! So always aim for the best.
How did you discover your passion?
From as far back as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to life’s bigger questions—Who am I? What am I? As a child, my intuition was like a trusted friend. At just 13, I became a Reiki master, opening the door to a lifetime of healing and transformation.
Years later, just four months after welcoming my daughter into the world, life threw me a curveball—I was diagnosed with Neurocysticercosis (a tapeworm in the brain, contracted from contaminated cabbage). The medications were heavy, and the postnatal stress was intense.
And yet, in that darkest hour, a friend introduced me to Access Consciousness. I worked deeply on my energies, using the tools every single day. Miraculously, what doctors said would take two years to heal took me less than one.
That experience shifted something in me forever. I knew I had to share this with the world. I became a Certified Access Consciousness Facilitator, and along the way, I embraced my psychic gifts, mystical abilities, and a treasure chest of healing tools—energy medicine, crystal healing, tarot and angel card readings, Reiki Healing, ESSE, shamanic practices, and more.
I’ve been honoured with titles and awards, from ‘Healer of the Year’ at the Gurgaon Mompreneur Awards to the ‘Award for Contribution to Mental Health’ by Magicka Woman & Fortis Healthcare. My mentor, Gary Douglas, even gave me the name ‘Kali’ for my fierce dedication to inner transformation.
Today, from my base in Gurgaon, I’ve been blessed to work with over 2500 clients across the globe, facilitating private sessions and workshops that change lives.
Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?
My secret fuel? My people and my faith. I’ve been blessed with parents who always had my back, a supportive husband, loving daughter, and friends who are my soul family. My parents never forced their choices on me—they gave me freedom, but also perspective.
And beyond the human love, I’ve always felt a higher energy—call it God, the Universe, Source—guiding me. As I like to remind myself, “The storm is temporary, but the sky is forever.” That knowing keeps me grounded, no matter how rough the waves get.
What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?
> Trust your intuition, always. It’s your inner compass.
> Respect and be kind to your body. It’s the only home you truly have.
> Choose being free over being “right.”Inner peace is worth more than winning an argument.
> Let your righteousness show in your actions, not just your thoughts.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
For me, success isn’t just material—it’s how aligned you feel with your soul.
The keys?
a) Asking questions, always.
b) Honouring yourself.
c) Staying curious.
d) Seeing everything as just an interesting point of view.
e) Never letting anything or anyone have more power over you than you give yourself.
I don’t believe in creating history; whatever you do, it should be an inspiration for the other person to step up. I believe in creating legacy.
What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?
Success is more than hard work—it’s about being in alignment with who you are. Stay curious, keep learning, and trust your instincts. Surround yourself with people who inspire and elevate you. And most importantly, don’t hide your uniqueness—that’s your superpower. “tat tvam asi”!
Never give up, Never Give in . Trust yourself and your body, no matter what! “If it excites you and scares you at the same time, it’s probably worth doing.”
Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying and exciting?
The fact that my purpose and my work are one and the same. I wake up each day knowing that what I do helps people heal, transform, and create lives they truly love.
There’s nothing like watching someone’s eyes light up when they realise they are not broken, that they have choice, and that they can create something greater for themselves. Those moments are priceless.
“For me, joy is when someone walks in with doubt and leaves with possibility in their eyes.” And that makes this journey not just exciting—it makes it magical.
