At Brilliant Read Media, it is our constant endeavour to identify and share some of the unique and compelling stories from the startup ecosystem. As part of this, we invited Mirza Hina Khan for an interview with Brilliant Read Media. To say further, Mirza is a Diabetes Reversal Coach, Healer and Founder at Soul Fitness Studio. Let’s learn more about her background, inspiring journey so far and her advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Mirza:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
I come from a small town, Muzaffarnagar, UP. My life took a different route because of early marriage, but I was blessed with a very supportive family. My parents, in-laws, siblings, and husband have always been my backbone and strength. Their constant support is one of the biggest reasons I stand where I am today.
After marriage, I completed my post-graduation, followed by specialised studies in Holistic Health, Food Science, Nutrition, and multiple Yoga certifications both in India and abroad.
But my real journey began when life tested me. After my son’s birth, I faced severe health complications with thrombosis in my leg, and doctors told me I might not walk without support. That was my turning point. I realised I had been studying health all along, but never truly living it. So I became my own first patient — applying nutrition, yoga, and holistic therapies on myself — and step by step, I regained my health.
That recovery gave me not just strength, but also purpose. I began helping people with back pain, cervical issues, thyroid issues, and lifestyle problems. In 2012, I founded “Soul Fitness Studio by Mirza Hina Khan” — a studio and clinic combined, where we blended yoga, food, and holistic healing.
Today, I’m proud to say I’m a mother of two, a global Diabetes Reversal Coach, Director at KyanosAi Technologies, and Chairperson at the National Sports & Physical Fitness Board. My work has taken me from Muzaffarnagar to Mauritius, Indonesia, and beyond — serving people worldwide.
How did you discover your passion?
Passion discovered me when I was at my lowest. My health struggles during delivery made me realise that knowledge without practice is powerless. Once I healed myself, I knew my mission was to help others reclaim their health.
At first, it was small — helping people with pain and lifestyle issues. But as I kept working, I realised most of my clients had diabetes. That’s when I specialised in diabetes reversal, studied deeper, and created my signature HEAL Framework — Healing Mindset, Everyday Habits, Aligned Food, and Life Force Detox.
Now, seeing patients reduce their sugar levels, avoid medicines, and live with energy — that’s my passion.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
My family is my foundation — my parents, siblings, in-laws, husband, and children. They are my moral support system, my strength, and my safe place.
My husband has been my biggest encourager, always telling me to aim higher. My children are my inspiration — I want them to see that no matter what life throws at you, you can rise stronger.
And of course, my patients. Every message that says, “My sugar dropped” or “I walked without pain today” is my biggest motivation. Their success is my success.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
a) Resilience → From small-town beginnings to international platforms, I learned to never give up.
b) Discipline → Practising what I teach, daily.
c) Learning → Continuously upgrading myself with new courses in health and yoga.
d) Adaptability → Shifting online after COVID and reaching clients globally.
e) Holistic Thinking → Looking at mind, body, and soul together, not separately.
f) Strong Relationships → I believe real strength comes from being a good wife, mother, daughter, sibling, or partner. When you hold your close relationships with patience, sacrifice, and understanding, you become a better person for the world, too.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
Success is not luck — it’s alignment. For me, the keys are:
Clarity — Know your purpose.
Consistency — Show up even when it’s tough.
Authenticity — Be true, people respect realness.
Balance — Family, work, and self-care must co-exist.
Contribution — Success is measured by the lives you touch, not just money
What advice would you give to our readers?
Never underestimate your ability to heal. If I could rise from being told “you may not walk again” to leading a global wellness mission, you can too.
Also, never neglect your relationships. Our closest circle — parents, in-laws, siblings, partners, and children — are our true moral support. If you can be a good wife, husband, parent, daughter, or sibling, you can be a good human being. Otherwise, no success in the world will feel fulfilling. A good parent raises a good next generation, and that is true legacy.
Health, relationships, and purpose — if you can balance these three, life transforms. Before I end, I want to share something very close to my heart.
We often chase success, money, recognition, but in the end what truly matters is the peace inside your home and the calmness in your heart.
Set your goals, dream them daily, and work on them consistently. Do affirmations for your health, your dreams, and your relationships — because when your mind is calm, you can achieve anything and enjoy every moment, not just in appearance, but in reality.
I believe acceptance and patience are the real virtues of life. No partner, no parent, no child is perfect — we all have flaws. If we can accept our husband, wife, or loved ones with their drawbacks, just as we accept other relationships, then we create true harmony.
A happy, calm, sacred home is the biggest success of all. Even if you become rich or popular, without “sukoon” (peace of mind), achievements lose their meaning.
I consider myself truly blessed that I have earned not only professional growth and respect, but also this inner peace and family harmony. And to me, that is my greatest achievement.
