Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Priyankka:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
I’m an MBA graduate from IRMA, Gujarat, but my real journey began the day I became a mother to twins. Motherhood was my turning point — it made me see life through an entirely new lens.
As I navigated the challenges of parenting, I started noticing something profound: we are, in so many ways, the products of how we were parented. Our childhood experiences, our parents’ influence, and even unresolved traumas silently shape our thoughts, behaviours, and decisions as adults.
This realisation hit me deeply. If so much of who we become stems from our early years, then the way I parent my children isn’t just about the present — it’s about shaping their entire future. That’s when I made a conscious decision: I would strive to be the best parent I could be. And to do that, I needed to learn, unlearn, and truly understand the art and science of parenting.
So I began studying parenting — not just as a mother, but as a curious learner determined to break unhealthy cycles and build a nurturing foundation for my children.
How did you discover your passion?
Over time, my passion discovered me. I began to keenly observe how our own belief systems and fears can unintentionally harm our children. I didn’t want to repeat those patterns. So I decided to start with myself — studying parenting, and later diving into NLP, driven by a deep curiosity about human behaviour.
One thing led to another. What began as self-education evolved into a mission. I started teaching children how to build their Emotional Quotient (EQ) — helping them understand themselves better, express emotions healthily, and grow into more resilient individuals.
Today, my journey is about more than just being a parent. It’s about breaking cycles, nurturing emotional intelligence, and empowering the next generation to live with awareness and confidence.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
My children and the struggles I faced while raising them have been my biggest source of motivation. They’ve taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of breaking old cycles to create a healthier future.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
1) Being a learner always
2) Trying to learn from each and every person I meet
3) Seeing the positive in every situation
4) Self-introspection
5) Learning to sit with a problem rather than finding distractions
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
I may still be on my journey to what I define as “success,” but here’s what I’ve learned so far: being authentic to who you are, truly believing in what you’re doing, practising positive self-talk, and building resilience — these are the real stepping stones to any achievement.
What advice would you give to our readers?
I also believe this with all my heart: we create our own reality. We are capable of everything. Life is full of magic and miracles — if only we believe so.
