Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Rashika:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
I’ve always been drawn to helping people understand themselves better. Supporting someone as they break through a limiting belief, work through a difficult experience, or discover their strengths has been a constant source of meaning in my life.
Over time, I realised that what shapes us most isn’t the situation itself but how we respond to it. The human mind and spirit are far more capable than we give them credit for, once we trust that capacity.
I am a Certified Life Coach, Therapist and Healer, trained at Symbiosis Coaching USA, an ICF-accredited program. I’m also a Master-level NLP practitioner and have completed advanced training in Metaphor Therapy from The Counselling Company.
In addition, I practise modalities such as Reiki (Level 2), Redikall Healing (Level 4), Inner Child Healing and Ho’oponopono. These diverse tools allow me to work with clients in an integrated way: addressing emotional, behavioural and subconscious patterns with clarity and care.
My approach combines techniques of coaching, therapy and counselling to help clients heal their mental, emotional and physical challenges. I am deeply influenced by an interest in philosophy, healing and meditation.
I help people understand the source of their unconscious troubles and traumas with the objective to heal the present and positively impact the future. I strive to create a safe and nurturing space for individuals to explore their innermost selves and embrace their innate strengths.
Before entering this field, I spent over 25 years in communications, working in marketing communications roles with leading brands in India. Prior to that, I worked as a journalist and editor across television and radio in India and the United States. Those years taught me how people think, communicate and evolve… insights that now strengthen my work as a coach and therapist.
How did you discover your passion?
After almost three decades in communications, I reached a point where I felt ready to formalise what had always been a natural inclination. There was a clear inner push towards something more entrepreneurial and more aligned with who I was becoming.
Around the same time, my personal and professional world was undergoing a complete shift. That period required me to examine and heal my own life, and it also deepened my spiritual grounding, which now forms the core of everything I do.
I stepped away from work to train formally in coaching, therapy and counselling. That process didn’t just give me tools; it clarified my purpose. A line I once read from a well-known author stayed with me: “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
Helping people feel alive, more connected to themselves, and more aware of their potential became my driving motivation. When individuals strengthen their relationship with themselves, everything else begins to shift. And once that inner transformation starts, life opens up in ways that are often unexpected and profoundly meaningful.
Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?
My resilience comes from a mix of faith, perspective and inner work. A few years ago, I went through a period that completely shook my foundation. That phase became a turning point, forcing me to reflect, rebuild and understand myself more deeply.
Since then, faith has been my anchor. I place my trust in a Higher Power, and I have a deep personal connection with Shirdi Sai Baba. That sense of surrender helps me step back from fear and see situations with a wider lens. If a challenge has come into my life, I believe I also have the strength to move through it. Surrender brings clarity and lifts the emotional weight.
I’m also naturally optimistic. I consciously choose to look for the brighter side of an experience, especially in difficult moments. Writing a gratitude journal is something I rely on. It shifts my energy, reminds me of the good that still exists, and keeps me from slipping into a victim mindset. Sometimes, simply recognising your blessings gives you the momentum to start again.
Persistence plays a big role, too. I don’t give up easily, even when circumstances are overwhelming. I try to respond to situations rather than react to them. We cannot control what life brings our way, but we can control our response. Choosing calm, choosing clarity, choosing myself over the chaos… that’s a practice I try to follow. I remind myself that I am larger than the problem, not the other way around.
Whenever things get tough, I turn inward. I work on myself, heal what needs attention, and let go of whatever isn’t serving me. That inner work keeps me grounded and helps me meet challenges with a clearer, steadier mind.
What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to let go and allow life to flow. We spend so much energy trying to control every outcome: our work, relationships, even our emotions. The moment things don’t unfold as expected, it creates anxiety and stress.
Over time, I realised that the outcome is never fully in our hands. Our role is to show up, give our best, stay present, and trust the process. When we release the need to control everything, life becomes lighter and far more aligned.
Another crucial lesson has been learning to love and accept myself as I am. Each of us is unique, and that uniqueness matters far more than external opinions. The way we see ourselves shapes every relationship and every decision we make.
Do we believe we are worthy of a good life? Do we treat ourselves with the same kindness we expect from others? Once we begin to heal our self-worth and remove the beliefs that limit us, our outer world starts shifting in very real ways. Life truly begins with how we see ourselves.
The third lesson is the importance of asking for help. For years, I equated strength with self-reliance and felt I had to manage everything on my own. Without realising it, that belief quietly shaped situations in my life. I kept attracting experiences that reinforced isolation.
Eventually, I understood that real strength lies in knowing when to lean, when to allow support, and when to let people in. The moment you open yourself to receiving help, you create space for connection, care and genuine relationships. When you start supporting yourself, the world mirrors that energy back. Help often arrives the moment you believe you deserve it.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
To me, success begins with learning to love and accept yourself. It’s the courage to be your authentic self, regardless of external opinions or expectations. When you value yourself without relying on outside validation, you operate from a place of confidence rather than fear.
Another key is the ability to challenge and move beyond your own limiting beliefs. When you stop holding yourself back, you open the door to opportunities you may never have considered. Real growth happens when you allow yourself to imagine more for your life.
Success also lies in how you respond to situations without letting the situation take the better of you. Life will always bring uncertainty, but remaining calm and centred in difficult moments frees you from emotional and mental suffering. You decide what you let into yourself.
Above all, success is about trusting the larger process of life and knowing when to surrender. The internal journey shapes the external outcome. What we see on the outside is simply a reflection of the work we’ve done within.
What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?
Whatever path you choose, give it your full commitment. When you approach your work with sincerity and depth, you build both skill and character. It’s equally important to choose a career that genuinely interests you because passion fuels consistency, and consistency builds success.
Another essential step is healing your relationship with money and self-worth. Many people limit themselves because of fears, doubts, or inherited beliefs about what they “deserve.” When you learn to value yourself, you naturally begin to take opportunities more seriously, and the world responds in kind. You don’t attract what you wish for; you attract what you are and what you believe about yourself.
Aim high without hesitation. You are allowed to dream big, pursue abundance, and build a life that reflects your potential. Nothing is truly impossible when your inner world and outer effort are aligned. You deserve happiness, fulfilment and the chance to reach for something extraordinary.
Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?
What makes this journey truly fulfilling is the transformation I witness in myself and in the people I work with. Watching someone step into their own power is incredibly rewarding, and it continually reminds me why I chose this path.
On a personal level, my daily practices keep me grounded. I enjoy beginning each morning with meditation and expressing gratitude for the life I have. That sense of connection and clarity sets the tone for my day. I also love challenging myself, trying new things, and discovering new layers of who I am. Growth keeps life interesting.
For me, satisfaction comes from being deeply engaged with my work and living with intention. When you are passionate about what you do and fully present in it, every day feels meaningful in its own way.
