Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Rashmi:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

My journey has been a blend of personal transformation and professional evolution. I come from a technical background, having completed my Master’s in Engineering and starting my career as a developer in the corporate world. While I was growing professionally, there was always a part of me deeply curious about human behaviour.

I had a strong instinct for observing people, noticing their silent struggles, emotional patterns, and inner challenges, especially among women navigating work-life balance, identity shifts, and emotional burnout.

Even as I worked in the tech industry, I could see how so many people were merely surviving, not truly living. Over time, I too faced my own turning point—emotional blockages, burnout, and a deep sense of purposelessness. That became the catalyst for change. It led me to explore healing modalities like NLP, mindfulness, and positive psychology.

I began my journey as a seeker, looking for tools that could first help me reconnect with myself. What started as my personal transformation and self-healing soon became a calling. I trained as a certified life coach and NLP practitioner, and today, I help others, particularly women between 30 and 50, rediscover themselves, break free from patterns, and create lives of purpose, peace, and fulfilment.

Over the years, I’ve designed courses, conducted webinars, and created communities focused on clarity, confidence, emotional freedom, and self-love. The journey has been more than just a career—it’s a mission to empower others to heal, grow, and rise.

How did you discover your passion?

This was a breakthrough moment in my life. I’ve always been deeply curious, especially about human nature. I loved reading self-development books and was constantly exploring ways to grow myself. But during a particularly challenging phase in my life, when I was questioning everything—my purpose, my direction, the meaning of it all—I found myself feeling lost. Like many do, I even started visiting astrologers, wondering if the planets had answers to my confusion.

One day, an astrologer said something that hit me straight in the heart: “You would do really well in psychology.” I was stunned. It felt like someone had just read my soul aloud. Without thinking, I responded, “I’ve always wanted to be in the psychology space, but I’m an engineer—what can I possibly do in that field?”

She looked at me and said a sentence I’ll never forget: “Don’t do something just for money. Do it for yourself.”

That one sentence changed everything. It shifted how I viewed life, work, and fulfilment. From that moment, I stepped into a new identity—not just as a professional, but as a seeker. I started exploring healing modalities, went deeper into understanding the mind, emotions, and the human experience, and eventually, found my passion in guiding others through their own transformations. Today, I’m no longer WANDERING. I’m LIVING my purpose.

Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?

What keeps me going is the “why” behind everything I do. I’ve been through the darkness—moments of confusion, loneliness, and emotional breakdowns where nothing made sense.

And I know how it feels to carry silent struggles while still showing up for the world. So every time things get tough now, I remind myself, “If I give up, someone out there might give up on themselves too.”

Also, I’ve learned to embrace challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities to grow. I now see tough times as a teacher. My daily practices—like mindfulness, journaling, meditation, and self-reflection—ground me and bring me back to my purpose.

And honestly, every message from a woman saying, “You helped me find myself again,” reminds me that this path is not just mine. It’s a shared journey of healing and rising together. That’s what keeps me going—even when it’s hard.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?

There are so many lessons life teaches us, but if I had to choose the top three that truly shaped me, they would be:

1) You are not just here to do a job, be in a relationship, or run after money and assets. You are here for something much deeper—a greater purpose. Life is not meant to be just a survival game. Each of us carries a unique light, and the moment you begin to search for meaning, the universe begins to unfold your true path.

2) You are incomparable—because you are unique. We often get stuck in comparison mode, looking at what others have or who they’ve become. But the real growth begins when you start comparing yourself with who you were yesterday. That’s the only competition that truly matters.

3) It’s never too late to start. Age, background, or past mistakes don’t define your future. If you have the passion, the eagerness to learn, and—most importantly a strong mindset, the Universe will align things for you. The moment you decide to change, doors start opening.

These lessons didn’t come to me from books—they came through experience, breakdowns, breakthroughs, and deep self-reflection. And I continue to live by them every single day.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

I think Success is a very vague and personal term—it means different things to different people. For me, success is not a destination. It’s a journey, and it never really ends. It’s not about ticking boxes like job titles, paychecks, or societal benchmarks. Instead, it’s about growth, alignment, and inner fulfilment.

I define success through a very simple yet powerful lens:

Am I better than I was yesterday?

Am I doing things today with more awareness, clarity, and purpose than I did before?

For me, true success is when my core areas of life—health, relationships, money, and work/business—are growing, not perishing. It’s not about perfection, but progress. It’s about waking up and feeling satisfied and fulfilled in how I’m showing up for myself and for others.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

My advice comes from both experience and observation, and it boils down to three key things:

1) Don’t just chase what glitters on the outside. Many young people fall into the trap of pursuing jobs, careers, or lifestyles that look impressive but don’t truly align with their interests or values. Success and happiness come when your work and goals resonate with who you really are, not just what seems popular or lucrative.

2) Believe in your own potential and know yourself first. Before you dive into the world of jobs, relationships, and responsibilities, invest time in your personal development. Understand your strengths, values, and passions. This self-awareness is the foundation for every successful and fulfilling decision you make.

3) Surround yourself with people who help you grow, but also bring your loved ones along. It’s important to be around mentors, friends, and peers who inspire and challenge you to be better. But don’t forget your family and old friends. Growth is a shared journey. Don’t be selfish with your progress—bring others along for the ride!

Remember, success is not just what you achieve—it’s also who you become and how you uplift those around you.

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

What makes my journey truly satisfying is the transformation, not just mine, but the transformations I witness in others. Every time I see someone break free from their fears, step into their power, or find clarity amidst chaos, it reminds me why I started this path.

It’s exciting because this work never gets old. Each person’s story is unique, and every day brings new challenges and breakthroughs. I get to keep learning, growing, and evolving alongside my community.

Most of all, what fills me with joy is knowing that this isn’t just a career—it’s a purpose-driven life. Living authentically, helping others heal and grow, and constantly discovering new depths of myself make every step worth it.

The journey is ongoing, and that continuous unfolding is what makes it so exciting and deeply fulfilling.

Why do you focus on Women?

Because I’ve seen so many women—brilliant, capable, and strong—constantly juggling between career and personal life, often sacrificing their well-being, dreams, time,  joy and health just for the sake of money or holding on to an identity, or to please the society.

What I truly focus on is bringing women back to themselves, especially those who’ve lost touch with who they are beyond the roles they play. I help them look at life and work through a business-minded yet heart-centred approach, a small Business which aligns with their Passion, potential and skills. In a world where everyone is fixated on 9–5 jobs, I encourage women to explore careers and paths they’re genuinely passionate about, without compromising on their family life.

This mission is especially close to my heart when it comes to career-break women and housewives—those who’ve paused their dreams but still carry so much potential. I want them to know: It’s never too late to start again. They can rebuild, rediscover, and rise in a way that feels fulfilling, not forced.
