Let’s learn more about her background, journey, and her advice for our community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Shweta:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

I am Shweta, also known as AARYA (Spiritual work name). I am a Metaphysics Practitioner and I practice Advanced Energy Healing Modalities. I’ve been working in the field of energy medicine and spirituality for over 10 years. I did my MBA (Finance) and worked in Consulting, Strategy & Finance for 10 years before I discovered my calling.

It all started in 2014, when I was at a point where I needed help, and when I got myself that help through therapy, I realised that this is what I want to do. It benefited me immensely, and I felt this was the kind of help and awareness that every person should have access to. Also, it is in those sessions that I received divine messages about my calling.

So in 2016, I started exploring spiritual courses that interested me & got myself a few certifications, and finally in 2017, I took this brave step of just following my heart and quit my job.

I finally made the switch from corporate to solopreneurship in order to follow my calling, and there was no looking back. So, while I am a Certified Angel Card Reader, Angel Therapy Practitioner, Angel Intuitive, Chakra Healer, Crystal Healer and Medium, I am also honoured to be a Gifted Psychic, Channel, Medical Intuit, and an Animal Communicator & Healer.

My healing modalities and methods are completely divinely guided and intuitively driven. I am a channel for divine guidance and a conduit for inter-dimensional exchanges. I founded my healing practice, SoulWaters Spirituality, and my offerings aim to help and heal people, animals, and spaces.

I have also created multiple oracle card decks and published a book, with my work being available on leading online platforms. Today, I have come a long way, wherein I am blessed with the ability to trust my intuition, and I allow myself to be totally driven by the divine guidance that I receive!

My soul’s purpose is to spread awareness for empowerment & awakening, which is exactly what my offerings are all about. They aim to facilitate Healing, Empowerment & Spiritual Growth through Awareness for Awakening and eventual Ascension!

How did you discover your passion?

As I mentioned earlier, it is in my therapy sessions that I started receiving answers on what I should actually be doing. Also, before I got myself any certifications, I would try and help and heal family & friends based on how I felt guided. And they would get back to me, saying they feel much better.

Now, to be honest, I don’t know what was happening and how it was all occurring. It was as if some higher power was just taking over and doing the needful. However, when I would receive their blessings and gratitude, I realised that it felt way more rewarding than a paycheck at the end of the month.

I felt more fulfilled. As if I was making a difference and adding value. This feeling served as additional validation that this is exactly what I was born to do. I am a Lightworker, and this is my soul’s calling!

Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?

A common hurdle or obstacle that any healer or spiritualist encounters is self-doubt! Because we deal with intangibles here. Everything is subtle and invisible, so the biggest challenge is to overcome this self-doubt.

But at the same time, when there is this absolute awareness and acceptance that this is your soul’s calling, like in my case, this is not just the work I do – it is who I am. In such a case, work, hobbies, interests, passions, and life are all one and the same.

There is no real work-life segregation, because work isn’t really work. It is joy. So, despite the self-doubt, there is nothing else that I see myself doing. Nothing feels as fulfilling as what I do. I may be capable of and qualified to do many other things, but that is just not me. And the fact that work and play are one and the same for me, that is what keeps me going.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?

The three most important lessons that I have learnt are:

1) Always trust your intuition, no matter what. If something looks right, but feels even slightly off, there are 100% chances that something is off. So I have learnt to never disregard my intuition & I have really learnt it the hard way.

2) Always be open-minded. I learnt that just because I don’t know something or don’t agree with something doesn’t mean it is wrong or impossible. So, always have the dignity and humility to accept that anything is possible, even if you can’t fathom how.

3) Always set healthy boundaries, whether at work or in personal relationships. Assertiveness and clear boundaries are extremely important to avert unnecessary conflicts and issues. This is again something I’ve learnt the hard way, & I am still learning to master it.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

Success is very subjective. There is no one standard definition of success. It is different for different people. For me, success is to have the freedom to fearlessly be your authentic self and live your purpose unapologetically with faith and gratitude. If one is able to do this, then they are successful.

Besides, I do not believe in the concept of failure, so by that logic, everyone is always successful, as such. Just that they may have setbacks or digressions from their core path. That’s about it.

That being said, the absolute key elements to success, as per me, are:

a) Self-belief

b) Self-worth

c) Perseverance, i.e. giving your best till you are out of all options.

d) Flexibility – The willingness to learn & course correct if needed

e) Humility & the ability to keep the ego aside

f) Discernment – The ability to see people and situations for exactly who they are without any judgment.

g) Contentment – to feel grateful for all that you have as well as for all that you don’t have.

h) Getting out of the rat race – Competition is passe. Looking to others and comparing is a waste of precious energy & time. Focusing on & prioritising your own path is far more beneficial.

i) Learning to let other people’s opinions be just that – opinions! Remaining unaffected by what others think and following one’s own truth is the foundation of what leads one to success.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

I would want to tell them, to not let societal definitions decide what success means. Firstly, to clearly identify for yourself what success means to you. What is it that would really make you happy and fulfilled. And then just focus on that single-mindedly, knowing that you absolutely deserve every bit of what you’ve set your heart upon and believing that you can absolutely make it a reality.

All you need to do is believe in yourself and in your deservingness of it! Another thing that you must remember is that everyone around you will tell you what they feel is best for you, and they mean well.

Allow only your heart to lead you. Seek guidance from experienced people and keep what aligns with you and leave what doesn’t. Forge your own path! No one can know what is right for you better than you!

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

Personally, for me, it is the fact that I took a risk, solely based on my intuition, and I landed safely. Besides this, I love how I am learning something new every day about deeper spiritual truths out there. It is extremely fascinating and intriguing.

But to top it all, it is the faith & trust that so many people place in me and in what I do for them, that is the most valuable gift that I have been blessed with. The honour to be able to partake in and witness the evolution of so many beings is beyond imagination. My journey has been far from easy, but I will say every bit of it has definitely been worth it!
