At Brilliant Read Media, it is our constant endeavour to identify and share some of the unique and compelling stories from the startup ecosystem. As part of this, we invited Keyura Agrawal for an interview with Brilliant Read Media. To say it further, Keyura is a Life & Mindset Coach and an Influencer. Let’s learn more about her background, inspiring journey so far and her advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Keyura:
Your journey into mindset coaching is inspiring. What personal experiences or turning points led you to choose this path?
For a long time, I was doing what most women do: taking care of responsibilities, family, and everything that needed to get done. Life looked fine from the outside, but somewhere along the way, I had stopped asking myself what I truly wanted.
There came a point where I realised I was living on autopilot. I was doing everything I was supposed to do, but I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. That phase pushed me to look inward and understand myself better.
As I worked on my own mindset, emotional healing, and self-discovery, I realized that so many women were going through the same struggles. Many had put their dreams on hold while taking care of everyone else.
Along with emotional challenges, I also saw how financial dependence often affected a woman’s confidence, choices, and sense of identity.
That realisation led me to become a certified coach and EFT practitioner. As I started working with women, I created the SHE Program to help them strengthen their mindset, heal emotionally, reconnect with themselves, and build lives where they feel confident, capable, emotionally resilient, and financially empowered.
Many people feel stuck despite having talent and opportunities. In your experience, what mindset blocks hold people back the most?
The biggest one is self-doubt.
I often say that driving a car while constantly looking in the rear-view mirror is dangerous. Yet that’s exactly what many people do in life. They keep focusing on past failures, mistakes, or criticism and then wonder why they’re not moving forward.
The problem is usually not a lack of talent. It’s where they’re keeping their focus. Once people learn to shift their attention from fear to possibility, they begin to unlock their true potential.
How do you define a growth mindset, and why is it so important in today’s fast-changing world?
For me, a growth mindset means believing that you can learn, improve, and evolve, regardless of where you’re starting from.
I often compare mindset to a muscle. The more you challenge it, the stronger it becomes. In today’s rapidly changing world, those who succeed are not necessarily the smartest people; they’re the ones who are willing to learn, adapt, and continue growing.
Self-doubt is something almost everyone struggles with at some point. What practical strategies do you recommend for building self-confidence and self-belief?
Confidence is like learning to swim. You can watch videos, read books, and learn every technique, but eventually, you have to get into the water.
Confidence doesn’t come before action; it develops because of action.
Pay attention to your self-talk, take consistent small steps, and celebrate your wins, no matter how small they seem. Confidence grows when you start collecting evidence that you can trust yourself.
Social media often creates comparison and pressure. How can individuals protect their mental well-being and stay focused on their own journey?
Comparing your life to someone’s social media is like comparing your behind-the-scenes to someone else’s movie trailer.
You’re seeing their highlights while living every detail of your own life.
The more connected you are to your own values, purpose, and goals, the less power comparison has over you. Focus on becoming a better version of yourself rather than trying to become someone else.
As a mindset coach, what are some of the most common transformations you’ve witnessed in your clients?
Through my coaching sessions, workshops, and women’s challenges, I’ve seen incredible transformations.
Women who once doubted themselves begin taking action they never imagined possible. They start speaking up, making bold decisions, pursuing careers or businesses, and creating healthier relationships.
The biggest transformation isn’t external, it’s internal. It’s the moment they stop seeing themselves through fear and begin seeing themselves through possibility.
What role do habits, daily routines, and self-talk play in shaping a person’s mindset and long-term success?
Imagine planting a seed and then digging it up every day to check whether it’s growing.
That’s what many people do with their goals. They begin a habit, expect instant results, don’t see immediate progress, and give up.
Growth happens underground before it becomes visible.
Your daily habits, routines, and self-talk quietly shape your future. Consistency, not perfection, is what creates lasting success.
Failure and setbacks can be difficult to navigate. How can people reframe challenges as opportunities for growth and learning?
I often say that a GPS doesn’t stop working because you missed a turn, it simply recalculates and shows you another route.
Life works the same way.
Instead of asking, “Why is this happening to me?” ask, “What is this trying to teach me?”
Every setback carries a lesson. The sooner we look for that lesson, the faster we grow.
If someone wants to reinvent themselves but feels overwhelmed about where to start, what would your advice be?
Start small.
Most people feel overwhelmed because they’re focused on the entire mountain instead of the very next step.
Nobody reaches the top by staring at the peak. They get there by taking one step at a time.
Don’t wait for perfect clarity. Begin with one small action today, and let momentum build from there.
Looking ahead, what is your vision for your coaching journey, and what impact do you hope to create in the lives of the people you work with?
I want to expand the impact of the SHE Program and help more women reconnect with themselves, build emotional resilience, and create lives that feel purposeful and fulfilling.
My vision is to help women believe that they can build lives where they are emotionally strong, financially independent, and deeply connected to who they truly are.
I also hope to see emotional intelligence and life skills become a much bigger part of how we educate and empower future generations.
What is the most powerful mindset shift that has transformed your own life, and how can others begin cultivating it today?
The most powerful mindset shift for me was realising that I am the CEO of my own life.
A CEO cannot control everything, but they are always responsible for the decisions they make and the direction they choose.
The same is true for all of us.
Every morning, ask yourself one simple question:
“What is one thing I can do today that moves me closer to the life I want?”
Small, consistent actions create extraordinary results over time. That’s how lasting transformation begins.
