At BrilliantRead Media, our aim is to bring to our community some of the finest stories from around the world. As part of this endeavour, we invited a passionate entrepreneur – Aditi Nirvaan for an exclusive interview with us. Aditi is a Leader, Entrepreneur, Coach, Mentor, Change Enabler and Founder of Aditi Nirvaan. Let’s learn more about her inspiring journey, her background and her advice for our growing community:

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Aditi:

You have made significant contributions to the area of women empowerment, talk us through your background and what made you choose to do this?

My specialization is in feminine awakening. It is about igniting the potential within women so they can create a life that they truly love.

My background is of 16 years of training and deep work in therapy, coaching and facilitating people into more freedom, choice and finding their truth and path.”

I have clients around India and the world and my passion has always been to be a catalyst for those seeking to live out their authentic life. My focus has been women, simply because we have to cut through much more than men do.

It requires a different level of wisdom, maturity, patience, compassion and strength to do that and it is what inspires women into choosing.”

In my years of work, I naturally just had more clients who needed this and I felt deeply fulfilled when I work with women. Today, women between 30 to 55 who deal with shame, guilt, loneliness, lack, the mid-life crisis in all areas of their life find their power and space to occupy in the world through my coaching, facilitating and mentoring.

What made you passionate about ‘Facilitating and Mentoring’?

I think it came naturally to me. I am someone who always gravitated towards what fulfils me, gives me joy and more importantly is an extension of who I am.

Even when I was younger, I found most happiness when I helped someone through something or uplift, someone, when they were low.”

Facilitation is transitioning a person from one state to another, preferably from some sort of suffering to liberation or awakening and to watch that happen in front of my eyes is indescribable. I mentor other coaches with their businesses and coaching practice and that too is something that I love.

I honestly don’t have any area in my life that I am not passionate about. I am an intense person; I feel through everything and I choose what I feel most about.”

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?

Challenges are not roadblocks. They are perhaps speed bumps or signposts that teach you something or you learn from it. There is no question about keeping going. Nothing drives me per se except an understanding that challenges are not even worth having a conversation about.

No one is going to give you a medal if you get past a challenge, no one even has to know. It’s all part of shaping you into who you are meant to be on your path. Like a river hitting rocks on the way. The force and momentum of the river are strong enough to get past them anyway and you don’t see a river making an issue out of it.”

What do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

I don’t do motivational stuff. Having to motivate oneself somewhere means that you aren’t totally in love with what you do. When you are crazy about someone, do you need the motivation to go meet them or is it something you desire to do? In the same way, if you need to be motivated at all, I wonder how in love you are with what you do.

My love for something is the source of my energy, creativity and connection to it. I create from that space of being in love with it. Whether it’s a person, my work, my home or raising a child or with friends. If I am not 100% nuts about it, I don’t do it.

What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?

I have no idea about strategies. I can share what has shaped me as a person. Life. You don’t go through it; you grow through it. We all have grand plans for our life but honestly, half the time we have no idea what we are doing.

Each day we just kind of wing it with no instruction manual for how we are supposed to be or how life is meant to be lived.”

Most of us are just jumping off cliffs hoping we learn how to land on the way down.

What can you share with our women readers about awakening their feminine?

We are living in interesting times. Earlier women were other centric, meaning putting everyone else before them. Then in order to take back their power, they became self-centric, meaning now they focus only on themselves.

Either way, women excluded themselves and ended up feeling lonely, shameful, lack of, disconnected and unsupported. Also, most women tend to make their partners or spouses the source of everything.

With these changing dynamics, I feel that women need support in finding their authentic voice, living their truth, choosing to occupy their rightful space in the world, harnessing their gifts and talents in a way that creates a great impact and awakens to their natural essence.”

Women need to get out of underestimating themselves and what they can do and my entire work is about showing them a different way. The feminine energy is shifting and changing and if it is not channelled well right now, we could go to extremes. That’s the last thing the world needs right now.

Please share with us, how do you transform your clients?

What makes for real transformation isn’t what you are trained in or the vast knowledge you have, etc. Real transformation happens in very simple and humble things like in the space of listening to someone deeply. When others are heard, seen, understood, half the issue is resolved.

Also, transformation happens when both are willing to do the work. I may do my part, but if a client isn’t willing to do theirs, nothing shifts.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

Be in love with what you do, know the value of what you offer others, know your worth and ask for it, be willing to lose people along the way if it happens, don’t be attached to outcomes, be more in the flow, clarity will get you everything if you don’t stand for something you will fall for everything so take a stand, communicate openly, don’t run after money, it has to follow you if you have the joy of what you do.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

What you do every day is what you are going to end up doing in your life. You may think you have time, but it passes by in a flash. So, choose your daily, well.
