Harsha Chaudhri

As part of our quest to get you meaningful and powerful stories from India and around the world, this weekend we invited yet another woman entrepreneur Harsha Chaudhri for an exclusive interview with BrilliantRead Media. Harsha is a Life Coach, Mentor, Mindfulness Coach, Speaker, Entrepreneur, and Change Enabler. She is the Founder of UNA Mind. Let’s read more about her inspiring journey, background, and her advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Harsha:

Talk us through your background and your journey, please.

I am an out and out thoroughbred professional from when India had opened its gates (2000). I worked in many roles including underwriting, claims, IT etc.

During that time, I always had a strong inclination towards manpower development, training and was blessed with many opportunities in the field.”

Post leaving my job, I continued working as a Human Skill Development professional, while exploring my own spiritual development.

I am now a Certified Life Coach, a Certified Mindfulness Coach, Master Spiritual practitioner, and a Student of Life.

What made you passionate about ‘Coaching’?

I was once told that if you have the cure for something and you don’t share it, it is the biggest disservice to mankind.”

There is immense pressure under which we live, and all the Coaching/Spiritual tools and techniques not only uplift that cloud, they also reintroduce you to yourself.

I have spent close to 20 years actively involved with people who are looking for answers, each client can attest to the increased ‘Self” in them.

UNA Mind

‘UNA Mind’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving.

I believe that we as humans not only live in a physical world but also in the mental world that we create for ourselves.”

Psychologists mention the effect of our environment on our psyche but they also mention the cognitive ability of a human to do better, be better. On the other side of understanding i.e., Spiritually, a shift in our energy can lead to magnificent, incomprehensible results.

That’s where my focus has always been, how can we process our sensory input within the awareness of our soul, how can we change our perception to be better prepared to receive what life has to offer, how can I be better for me.

Hence the concept:

U – Unlimited i.e., not bound by the limits presented to us

N – Natural i.e., tap into the inborn abilities

A – Abundant i.e., claim your birthright

UNA Mind, a place where you can create the best you.”

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?

I feel that we are unaware of this beautiful creature that is SELF, we spend our whole life being unaware, living a stereotype, fulfilling obligations thus feeling dissatisfied. Living somebody else’s version of us.

We do all these without realizing the power that we have within us to do better, be better, not only for ourselves but for our families, our communities, our world. An unhappy person cannot make a happy life/home.”

I want everyone that I encounter to take responsibility for their life and contribute positively and consciously to their life and then to each other’s life

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

My children, I aspire for them to inherit a better world than what I was born into.

What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?

On top of my head, there are a few:

1) Don’t judge yourself, you are a unique set of circumstances, environment, experiences, and mindset. Give yourself a break. Be aware of your shortcomings, you are not meant to be perfect.

2) Talk to yourself, get to know yourself, am I happy, why am I doing this, what am I missing….

3) Be brave, you won’t like whom you meet completely but if you are honest with yourself, you will come to love yourself.

Harsha Chaudhri

Please share with us, how do you motivate your clients?

My clients become my best friends; they can lean on me the same way as a friend does.

We work together to find what the client truly desires, (not what is expected of them), how to accomplish them, deconstructing the beliefs that are stopping them and much more

I give them tools and techniques to continue the journey on their own.

What are the business mantras you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?

I believe a business must be true to the client, be true to their needs (even when the client doesn’t know it), educate them, help them achieve everlasting change. If this is done with absolute sincerity, business will flourish and grow.”

You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?

I don’t believe that anyone can be motivated all the time, neither can I.

I believe that my low days are as important as my high days.

My low days, tell me to take a step back and evaluate my day/life, maybe my body is telling me to take a break. I listen to my intuition as much as my consciousness.”

I am only responsible for the life I create for myself and the potential of positivity I create for people around me.

What about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

When you see a client’s face, voice, general demeanour, change with every session, when you see them reach their best selves, there is nothing more satisfying than that.

The very fact that I could help someone be themselves, be happy, is the best feeling in the world.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

Ohhh! many of them:

(a) Be Aware of what you are doing, cause when you are aware of the situation, you can do something about it, that comes from clarity. Be responsible for choices.

(b) Accept that life is not what you want it to be. Uncertainty of the situation helps carve a way out of the fear of freedom.

(c) Alignments: everyone is born with a purpose, and your core values are defined around it, so align yourself with what you really want and are. And

(d) ACT

Harsha Chaudhri

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

As I mentioned earlier, spend a little time with yourself, come to understand your core values, develop your skills towards your passions n ACT ACT ACT
