Joyita is a Social Entrepreneur, Holistic Wellness Facilitator, Counselling Psychologist and Founder of Healing Miracles. Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Joyita:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

As a child, I felt as if I didn’t belong here; I had this feeling that my soul had some mission which I couldn’t fathom.  Then life happened, and plans were made for me by others. The conditioning of my family, the society, peers, and professional life took over. I studied Biology and went on to do an MBA in operations management, and had a long and successful stint in the  Telecom industry.

However, I was practising meditation, breathwork and energy healing as part of my personal development for close to 30 years. What began as a personal journey of self-discovery soon became the foundation of a larger calling. The more I aligned with these practices, the clearer it became: my purpose wasn’t confined to a cubicle or a boardroom.

It was in healing, guiding, and serving, and it wasn’t long before I founded Healing Miracles, a holistic wellness practice, with a commitment to align with charity or community service.

‘Healing Miracles’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving?

The balance in body mind and soul, is the natural state, where we just ARE. So the miracles we see when we are in harmony within us and with the Universe aren’t rare.

They are available to all of us when we align with the intelligence of our body, the power of our energy, and the truth of our spirit. And hence I was guided to take up this name.

For problem solving, we address the root cause of emotional issues, the unresolved trauma and the past life karmas. Most of our cases are those of limiting beliefs, suppressed emotions and karmic pasts which manifest as anxiety, stress, relationship and financial issues.

We also work with the ancestral wisdom and heal the transgenerational karma. Healing Miracles is not a business for me; it’s a sacred practice.

Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?

I don’t see a situation as a challenge; rather, it is a lesson. I believe that as a Holistic wellness facilitator, I’m a medium who can awaken your inner healing.

Also, as a regular practice, I do self-healing, shielding and meditation for divine guidance.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?

Acceptance, that’s the most important lesson as it has taught me that rather than resisting, accepting can bring peace in my life. Once I started accepting and embracing what life offered, I found grace, after all,  life doesn’t always unfold the way we wish it to.

Gratitude transformed my life completely. My Reiki Master taught me to always be in the attitude of gratitude, and I have followed it for three decades. I have always been able to manifest my desires simply by being grateful for what I have. And today, I’m grateful for being chosen to share my story by Brilliant Read.

Forgiveness is freedom, a Masterclass I love to conduct. Forgiveness has freed me from the weight I carried – of hurt caused by others, from the past mistakes, and I feel so powerful and light.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

In my experience, it is self-awareness, because when you know who you truly are and choose to follow your inner guidance, you are truly successful.

Empathy is the heart of success, meaningful success for me. It has given me the privilege to connect to people beyond roles, designations, and wealth. Especially as an entrepreneur, I feel I just didn’t grow a business, but a heart-centred community.

Faith in the path I chose, in setting up this practice, as it entails a lot of responsibility. In any business or in life there will be moments of doubt, but trusting the process, trusting yourself keeps the vision alive even when the path isn’t clear.

Service for the community because success becomes truly meaningful when we can give back to society.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

Success isn’t linear; rather, it’s a combination of courage and continuous learning. Have faith in your journey, even if it doesn’t look like anyone else’s.

When you build your career on authenticity and integrity, success becomes sustainable and fulfilling. Stay rooted in your values, not just your goals. Also, be selective about what you define as success. For some, it may not be chasing promotions or fat pay cheques.

Be open to learning; you don’t have to have it all figured out. Let your passion guide you, not pressure.

Most importantly, be compassionate to every person, every situation.

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

The most satisfying part of my work is when I see a transformation in the life of my client. Sometimes, they are out of a situation in which they have been stuck for years. And yet in others, they’ve had a mindset change. And it’s this growth that makes me feel grateful to be doing what I do.
