In our latest interview, we spoke to yet another passionate entrepreneur Mihir Gadhvi to find out more about his interesting journey. Mihir is the Co-founder & Director at Illustrake Digital Marketing Services Pvt Ltd And 3nions Media Pvt Ltd. Let’s learn more about his journey and his advice for those aspiring!

Tell us a little bit about yourself (background) and your journey as an entrepreneur, please;
First of all, thanks for sending me the invite. I am a regular reader of your magazine and I really appreciate BrilliantRead Media’s efforts. Your venture is adding a lot of value to the ecosystem.
So to answer your question, I am the Director at Illustrake Digital Marketing Services Pvt Ltd & 3nions Media Pvt Ltd. I have always been extremely passionate about creating impactful businesses. Over the years, I have had the privilege to work with over 200 start-ups, SMEs, brands and agencies across the world, offering them strategic media support services that increase ROI. illustrake helps businesses and individuals with all aspects of the Digital World. Satyansh Tiwari, Prakhar Shrivastava and Mihir Gadhvi started the 3nions and illustrake together.
We have worked with many popular brands/companies like Shell Global, Kalyan Jewellers, Epsum Labs, Pitch Ground, Bluestacks, Urban ladder, Neurored, wondershare and many more. I always focused beyond the 9 to 5 culture. I felt there is a lot to achieve if you broaden the horizon and leverage your skills prudently.
I was always passionate about things that were beyond my imagination. Exploring is one of the qualities I can’t shed. I love research and analysis a lot and understanding the trends of the markets.
Of course, easier said than done but we put in a lot of effort which brought us where we are today.
Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
As I mentioned, doing just one task for a particular time period is not my cup of tea. I thought of ways that I can start my own firm and lead people, learning with them and acquiring more and more knowledge on the path.
What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?
The thought of exploring something new every day. A new sun brings a new day and it brings new hope to see more and do more. That has been my constant source of motivation.
What challenges/obstacles did you face in your journey so far?
I have always been a trial-and-error guy so I have had setbacks. But I don’t see them as setbacks. A man’s failure shapes his upcoming tasks. Doing a basic contrast is a must, which I think every person setting foot in the world of the entrepreneurship should adapt.
What comes first for you – money or emotions?
Emotions, actually. So if you put a lot of emotional work, you care about the work so much that it can’t be neglected. The money follows.
How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?
No human can escape stress and pressure, be it any job. I take long walks, which not only keeps me in shape but also calms the myriad of thought processes going in my mind.
What is one strategy that you believe has helped you grow as a person?
Giving your 100% to everything to you is the success mantra I follow quite rigorously.
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
Whatever opportunistic door you want to open, you need the keys that exhibit hard work, confidence with a tinge of risk. It’s quite cliched but it does work.
What advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur?
First of all, always believe in yourself! Even if others tell you that it’s a bad idea, you must follow your instincts. Secondly, listen to your heart and your brain. Both guide you to the right part. Last but not the least, give your best and always be answerable to your decisions.
