Let’s learn more about her inspirational journey and her advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Neeta:

We are aware of your contribution to the ecosystem, talk us through your background and your journey as a coach, please;

I was born with a golden spoon in a Punjabi Family and was not allowed to make my career because money was never a problem. But thanks to my abusive married life I was in, this feeling of making my identity and having my own money, was troubling me from inside.

In 2004 I met with an accident and got deaf. I was told that I had a genetic disorder due to which I have to be the deaf whole of my life as there were 99% failure chances. 8 months full of silence, pain and a new horrible side of life was hugging me. Eventually, my Doctor asked me if I’m ready to take the risk, he would operate on me. I was confident enough to come back victorious and I said Yes.”

Finally, I became the first one in India to have a Cochlear Implant with osteogenesis imperfecta. The pain and journey of one year getting back to normalcy made me enter in the field to help others. I joined my Dr’s team as a counsellor to provide therapy to deaf kids after Implant.

But I wanted to do something more. My motto is that we win life by staying happy and finding a purpose to live life rather than cry over the situation.”

It was this motto which took me into NLP practice and then Freelance Master Life Coach. Being an International certified Emotional Intelligence coach, and with few other certifications in the mental health area, my expertise is enabling people handling emotions perfectly.

How did you find your passion and purpose and started working with it?

Just like many people I was not aware of my passion and purpose. Of course, there was something missing in life and as I said there was a feeling of taking charge of myself. My failed marriage and disability increased this feeling of being independent in all areas of life.

Life was trying to tell me to look in a new direction for a new journey but where? However, It was my mentor who told me to enter counselling and mental health as I have myself overcome my struggles on my own and I can be an inspiration. I had a friendly nature and could win the trust of people. they could relate their pain with my story and that gave me strongly believe in the power of mentoring and coaching and counselling because that changed my life.”

My purpose is to inspire as many people I can inspire. My purpose was to keep them smiling and being happy with a fighting spirit. Once you feel the positivity within you then nothing can stop you from being who you want to be in life and achieving all your dreams.

I started with doing all certifications from NLP to Master Life Coach then doing Hypnosis in Verbal Artistry and then finally doing Emotional Intelligence course from USA which gave me life purpose I felt complete after doing it. I went deep into it further studying quantum physics and emotional traumas and then healing.

What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?

Every day is new. Every day is full of love, humour. Sparkle your eyes and inspire yourself to win.

How do you manage yourself and keep on going despite the challenges? What drives you?

Being a solo traveller helped me a lot. Meditation, self-love, self-talk became my support to handle challenges.  Reading books, listening to Louise Hay, Oprah, to name a few.

Sometimes you just need to breathe, just unwind yourself either alone or with friends. Writing Shayari was just hobby sometimes but it became a passion for me to unwind.

Professionally I had a vision board and I was clear of my goals. Monthly review of my goals and plan of action for next month helped me I delegated work whenever I needed help.

Only one thing drives me to surrender to almighty and yourself If you are passionately in love with ur dreams all starts happening.

Please share with us what has worked well for you so far?

Listen to people not with your ears but with your heart. Don’t Judge people or yourself, rather be compassionate, it really works and last but not the least don’t react just respond. Anger is never a solution to observe from a neutral mind and then decide your response.

We are aware of your achievements and accolades; tell us more about it please.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

Believe in yourself, willing to learn and unlearn, love to take the risk, accepting failures, being aware of your strengths and resourcefulness, working on your weakness, emotional balance, Delete fears from your life.

You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?

I love myself I love risk-taking and yes I love my work. Anything you do in life you have to have a passion for and should not feel like work.  Just one thing keeps me going – I want to die smiling and fighting I will never give up.

We would love to know your advice for all those starting out?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes and see them as an opportunity to learn. Accept failures they are stepping stones to your success. Have an articulated plan for your life.

Don’t sit crying in the comfort zone or just because you don’t have money or mentor. Your will to achieve and resourcefulness can create miracles money will not solve problem resourcefulness will. Don’t share your plans with each n every one you love or trust. Just one mentor is enough. Listen to your intuition. When you feel fearful, just jump because that is time life wants you to make a change.

What would be your advice to women starting professionally?

Take charge of your money while building up your career. Learn to manage money.

Don’t depend too much on your spouse or family emotionally and financially. Create a mode of passive income even if starting from scratch. Take care of your health and have your me-time at least weekly.

How did you manage your expenses when you started your journey as a professional?

My parents always made me money-conscious since my childhood days and I was a good saver. Since my college days, I had started investing In stocks and never used that money to spend, rather I used to reinvest the profit I made although it was minimal. That money and my knowledge to manage money made me go through challenging times. Today I have good streams of passive income and I’m not worried about money.
