At BrilliantRead Media, we always strive to bring meaningful and powerful stories from India and around the world to empower and motivate our growing community. As part of this endeavour, we invited Satvinder Kaur for an exclusive interview with us. Satvinder is a Women’s Transformation & Life Design Coach, Consultant and Founder at SheRise Life Alchemy. Let’s learn more about his background, journey and his advice for our community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Satvinder:
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
My journey has been a blend of corporate leadership, personal transformation, and conscious growth. Professionally, I built my career in the corporate space, working across strategy, marketing, and leadership roles, while continuously evolving with the changing demands of work and life.
Parallel to this, life presented its own transitions — motherhood, identity shifts, emotional healing, and redefining success on my own terms. Instead of viewing these as disruptions, I chose to see them as teachers.
Over time, the integration of professional experience and inner growth shaped who I am today — someone who values clarity, resilience, empathy, and intentional living.
Today, I stand at the intersection of career, creativity, and inner work, helping others navigate growth while continuing to evolve myself.
How did you discover your passion?
My passion didn’t arrive as a single moment of clarity — it unfolded gradually.
I discovered it by paying attention to what consistently energised me, even during difficult phases of life. I realised I am deeply drawn to understanding people — their emotions, patterns, potential, and inner blocks — and helping them move forward with confidence.
Whether through leadership conversations, mentoring, content creation, or coaching, I found fulfilment in guiding people towards self-awareness and courage. Over time, I stopped chasing labels and started following alignment. That’s when my passion became clear.
Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?
What keeps me going is purpose and responsibility — responsibility towards myself and towards those who look up to my journey.
I’ve learned that challenges don’t disappear when life improves; what changes is our capacity to handle them. During tough times, I remind myself that growth often looks uncomfortable before it looks meaningful.
I also believe deeply in self-work — healing, reflection, and conscious action. Knowing that my own courage can inspire someone else not to give up keeps me moving forward, even on the hard days.
What are the three most important lessons you have learned in your life?
First, self-worth is non-negotiable. The moment I stopped seeking validation and started honouring myself, my life shifted.
Second, responsibility is empowering. Owning my choices instead of blaming circumstances gave me clarity and strength.
Third, growth requires compassion — for ourselves and for others. Everyone is doing the best they can with the awareness they have.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
For me, success is not one-dimensional. The elements that truly matter are:
a) Self-belief and self-acceptance
b) Emotional resilience
c) Consistent action, even when motivation is low
d) Curiosity and a willingness to learn
e) The courage to stand up for oneself
f) Alignment between values and actions
Success becomes sustainable when it supports both achievement and inner peace.
What advice would you give students and young professionals who want a successful career?
Don’t rush to impress — focus on building depth.
Take time to understand yourself: your strengths, your boundaries, and your long-term vision. Skills can be learned, but self-awareness is what will guide your decisions.
Also, remember that careers are not linear. It’s okay to pause, pivot, or reinvent. What matters is staying honest with yourself and choosing growth over comfort.
What about your journey makes it satisfying or exciting?
What makes my journey deeply satisfying is witnessing transformation — in myself and in others.
When someone tells me that a conversation, a piece of content, or my story helped them feel seen, stronger, or more hopeful, it validates everything I’ve walked through.
I no longer measure success only by milestones. I measure it by alignment, impact, and the quiet confidence of knowing I am living my truth — and helping others do the same.
