Let’s learn more about her background, inspiring journey so far and her advice for our growing community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Seemaa:
How did you discover your passion?
My journey in real estate started in 1999 when I accepted a salaried position with some of the most esteemed builders and developers in Mumbai. Over the following ten years, I gained extensive experience in sales, marketing, advertising, media planning, and revenue collections, particularly in the western suburbs of Mumbai. Andheri, Vile Parle, Goregaon, Malad, Virar, etc.
In 2008, I made the entrepreneurial decision to establish V Unicorns, a sole proprietorship marketing firm that focuses on sole selling mandates, project marketing & consultancy firm, to provide tailor-made solutions to builders, developers, & Project owners.
At V Unicorns, I have built a strong team of 60+ professionals specialised in sales and collections. Under my leadership, my team has consistently delivered successful project launches even in challenging market conditions.
We/I actively operate across the following key locations: Western Suburbs, Central Line, Harbour Line, and Beyond Panvel.
V Unicorns is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please;
The name Unicorn itself reflects something rare, unbeatable, and extraordinary. The ‘V’ stands for our strong, united workforce, the driving force behind our vision and success. So we are V Unicorns.
What Services do you Offer In Real estate?
We offer two kinds of services in Real estate.
1) For Builders, Developers & Project Owners (Residential Projects Only) Key area: business strategy, including sales, marketing, CRM, business development, product development, Conceptual selling, creating and handling sales verticals, train & lead the sales team. Sales & Marketing company providing CUSTOMIZED solutions as per requirements to developers.
2) For Developers, Professionals & Collaborators, Fractional Contributors (LLP-Led Revenue Sharing Model). No ownership or management burden
– Performance-driven execution
– End-to-end handling by a separate LLP.
Do you have a vision for your LLP-led Fractional Contribution vertical?
Yes, our vision is to offer curated opportunities for Fractional Contributors, whether in a single unit or across an entire project.
Have mentors played a role in your journey?
Certainly! Shri Shri Pravin H. Doshi (Acme Builders & Developers) has played a pivotal role in my professional development. During my time working, I gained invaluable insights that significantly influenced my path. His forward-thinking leadership, careful project execution, and keen attention to detail highlighted the value of thorough preparation to me.
From conducting feasibility studies before launches to forecasting budgets, each of his decisions was rooted in data, timelines, and documentation. His resilience during real estate market downturns, assertive nature, and capacity for making disciplined, informed choices made a lasting impression on me.
His ability to unify teams and his approach of empowering individuals while ensuring accountability continue to motivate my approach to leadership.
Please share with us about your approaches that have helped you grow?
My growth has been fueled by continuous learning and keen observation. I believe in a customer-centric approach to selling, backed by structured data-driven planning, aligned teams, and unwavering daily discipline.
Even in challenging market conditions, clarity of thought and a strong work ethic have helped me stay focused and drive consistent progress.
In your opinion, what are the keys to success?
Success begins with clarity of purpose. Once you choose a career path, commit to it with conviction. Be observant, watch, listen, learn, and soak in wisdom from your surroundings, mentors, and experiences.
Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of consistent effort, day after day, that truly makes the difference.
What advice would you give to our readers?
My advice is simple: stay focused on your goals. Challenges and setbacks are inevitable, but never let them shake your resolve. Strengthen your mind, build discipline, and above all, nurture your willpower.
In the end, your ability to fine-tune yourself, your skills, your mindset, and your habits will shape how far you can truly go.
