Sriprakash is a Coach, Leader, Fitness Guru, Mentor, Influencer and Change enabler. Let’s learn more about his background, his inspiring journey so far and his advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Sriprakash:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey, please;

Being in the field of health and life sciences, we have helped 15,000+ individuals to transform their health, be it weight loss, thyroid management, diabetes management, PCOD and other hormonal conditions without any medicine or supplements.

Our organization @Rustic Wisdom was recently recognized by Startup India and very soon we are going to touch millions of families to transform their health and perform at the peak of their fitness.

I have completed my engineering from NIT Agartala and worked for prestigious organisations before we could set up our start-up.

How did you discover your passion as a ‘Health Coach’?

I was quite impressed with the treasure of knowledge our ancestors gathered about living life at peak fitness but unfortunately, it’s getting lost at a very rapid pace because of the commercialization of everything.

After completing my Engineering when I started working in the corporate world and realized that most of the people are not able to perform their best at work because some way or other they are not able to manage their health. Can you imagine your manager having hormonal conditions and getting very frequent mood swings and because of that whole team is suffering.

I am seeing girls of age 14-15 have to take pills to get periods on time and managing cramps. You might be seeing it became very rare to hear of a normal delivery of the baby. This was never the case before. Our ancestors exactly knew what to do in these situations and that knowledge will not be available for the next generations if we don’t revive that.”

Being part of a family where I got introduced to yoga and right eating in very early age, I always had a passion to help people in this domain. Now we work mission to bring back the ancient wisdom of our land in day-to-day practice so that our body and mind can work at their best and as an organization, we have successful in transforming thousands of lives.

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?

When we work for a cause as big as transforming the lives of millions of individuals of this generation and making sure the right habits are getting transferred to the next generation so that our beloved nation remains not only the youngest but the healthiest one, there is no looking back.

It’s always a joy to see people sharing their experiences of our programs from the bottom of their heart and showing the blessing, what else someone needs.”

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

You don’t need motivation in daily life if you have responsibilities. Once we accepted bringing back that ancient knowledge in our day-to-day practice and making people enjoy peak health as our responsibility, many days we feel why there is only 24 hrs in a day.

But overall life if you talk, Life of Lord Shree Ram and Shree Krishna has been guiding principles for me in different areas of life, especially how they responded to different situations in life when everything was going wrong.

What is your take on work pressure, stress and its consequences on health?

Work pressure is bound to be there and as we grow in the organization, it is going to increase only. But how we manage our thoughts and emotions, its always in our hands.

As there is a famous saying “We suffer our own thoughts and emotions” We have to be more conscious about what thoughts we put into our brains because ultimately “thoughts become action”

Yoga and the right food are going to be very effective how to process the information in your mind. It will make you more conscious and if you practice it for some time you will see a difference in how you react to different situations in life.

What advice would you give to our readers?

Nothing in life comes for free and the same is valid for health as well, you have to pay the price either in the form of investing your time in yourself in the form of Yoga, sports and right eating in form of medical bills later on.

Some general which guidelines anybody can follow to have good fitness:

> Lifting weight will fix your testosterones

> Going on a walk in nature will fix your anxiety

> Time in Sun will fix your mood

> Sufficient sleep will fix your low energy

> Right diet will fix your body

There are no magic pills that help you if you don’t get the basics right.

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

Satisfaction comes when see people coming out of depression, obesity, diabetes, PCOD other health conditions and living their life at peak fitness like never before.

How can someone approach you if they want to work health and how you help them?

We believe every individual is different, the diet plan which can beautifully work for me, may not work for you. The food I like you may not like and that is when most of the weight-l0ss and lifestyle disease management programs fail in the long run.

We provide personalized coaching where our dieticians interact with our clients on a daily basis to understand what are their likes and dislikes, responses on food on their body and as we have their blood reports with us, we fix their underlying conditions and that is when they lose weight, reverse their underlying condition and gain the health back.
