“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage that counts”-Winston Churchill

JK ROWLING

“By every usual standard, I was the biggest failure I knew” these were the words of JK Rowling.

JK Rowling went from being a single jobless mother living off employement benefits to one of the best selling authors of all time. But it didn’t happen overnight. She faced rejection and constantly strived for success.

She worked hard at her craft before anyone noticed her.

That practice, along with strengthening herself against rejection, was what made her work unforgettable.

Looking back, The Harry Potter series has earned over $400 million in book sales.

She was the first female to become a billionaire author, not that many authors make it that far in the first place.

STEVE JOBS

The now revolutionary ‘Apple’ started with two men in a garage. Years later we all know it as a $2 billion company with over 4000 employees.

Steve jobs was fired from his company that he began.

But his passion for his work made him exceed the disappointment of failure.

His further ventures like next and PIXAR led him back to the CEO position that he was fired from.

BILL GATES

Bill gates was a Harvard dropout as we all know. His first and true failure was his co-owned business called Traf-O-Data. However his skill and passion for the computer software led him to the pioneer of world ‘s biggest software company ‘MICROSOFT’.

He was then the world’s self made youngest billionaire and even today he is one of the top 3 billionaires.

ALBERT EINSTEIN

Albert Einstein himself, couldn’t speak until the age of nine. He couldn’t read until the age of seven. His rebellious nature led him to a lot of trouble in his early life. One of them was expulsion from school as many people suspected him to be mentally retarded. Einstein didn’t give it on his higher education but continued to face difficulties at every turn of his life.

Regardless of all his setbacks and rejections, he continued his studies, experimentation and work on his theories.

Infact, it was not until after one of the Einstein’s first theories the special theory of relativity was published that the world realized his great talents.

He then went on to prove to all of the doubting, ridiculing scientists throughout the world that he had a great mind by winning the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921.

If you have a dream or passion and you keep getting rejected or running into failure, don’t let that stop you. If you’re going through a tough time in your life, but working on something you really believe in, don’t give up. If you do, you’ll never know what could have been. Who knows, you might end breaking records!
