She is an Entrepreneur, Leader, Image Consultant, Soft Skills Trainer, Grooming & Etiquette Coach and the Founder of Prachi Kukreja Image Consulting. Let’s learn more about her incredible journey, background and advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Prachi:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey? How did you discover your passion?

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve consistently excelled, engaging actively in extracurricular pursuits spanning oration, drama, and dance. My passion for dancing was cultivated over years of training and remained steadfast as I transitioned to Delhi University. Following the completion of my undergraduate studies, I embarked on a career path with Deloitte, for the role of an auditor.

During my tenure at Deloitte, I seized opportunities to expand my horizons through various creative online courses, exploring disciplines such as design and the psychology of colours.

It was during this period that I embarked on a transformative journey, enrolling in the Image Consulting Certification program offered by the Indian School of Image Management in collaboration with the International Image Institute, Canada.

Upon completing the curriculum, I found myself faced with a pivotal decision: to remain in a stable, well-compensated position or to follow my heart on a full-time basis. Driven by a deep sense of passion, I made the bold choice to embark on this new chapter in my career which led to the birth of my brand Prachi Kukreja Image Consulting.

Tell us something about your Image Consulting and your brand?

Image Consultants are professionals who are trained to elevate you Appearance, Behaviour and Communication Skills by providing various services such as Personal Shopping, Style assessments, Colour Analysis, Etiquette Training and Communication training amongst others.

At Prachi Kukreja Image Consulting, we believe in Transforming Presence. We are convinced that embracing Abundance and Individuality helps cultivate CONFIDENT humans who happily lead a life towards their goals.

As an image consultant, what according to you is style?

I believe style is what represents our personality in all its glory. To leave a lasting impact, it is important to dress for one’s personality style, keeping in mind our comfort, instead of blindly following trends.

Always remember “Style and Fashion are about being comfortable and feeling our best!”

Despite the challenges, what keeps you going when things get tough?

At Prachi Kukreja Image Consulting, I believe in attending to each client and understanding their needs. I provide customised solutions to help people overcome their challenges and become a better version of themselves.

Running everything on my own definitely means more work every day. But what keeps me going is my love for image consulting and making a difference in people’s lives. Having been through a job I didn’t enjoy, I know the value of doing what I truly love.

When you’re passionate about something, putting in extra hours feels natural.

What are the most important lessons you have learned in your life?

In my journey of building my own brand, I’ve learned some important lessons:

1. It’s okay to ask for help from friends and family when you need it. They’re always there for you, and you don’t have to struggle alone. I’m thankful for the support of my loved ones who are just a message away.

2. To succeed, it’s crucial to put in extra time and effort consistently. Hard work pays off in the end.

3. Every little effort counts, even if you don’t see immediate results. Small actions add up to big achievements over time.

In your opinion what are the keys to success?

In my belief, everybody has a different goal and aim in life. But I always suggest my clients to DRESS the part. As important as it is to be skilled at one’s job, it is equally important to ace the first impression.

Hence, dressing for the part we aspire to play and having positive body language in line with our goals are the keys to success.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

I always advise my clients that a positive and life-changing journey begins with accepting and embracing ourselves. Understanding our self-worth is crucial for reaching our goals effectively and efficiently.

Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?

Honestly, everything about this profession motivates me to wake up each morning. It’s about adding value to someone’s life in a holistic way that leaves me feeling fulfilled at the end of the day.

Knowing that I can contribute to my community and help individuals become better versions of themselves brings me immense joy.

Once you’re a part of Prachi Kukreja Image Consulting, you’re always a part of our family. I’m committed to providing ongoing support to each of my clients even after our sessions, and I love hearing about their success stories. We’ve built a beautiful community, and I’m incredibly proud of it.
