PsychoChefBlog

Meet Aakash and Bhavya: Founders of Psychochefblog. These passionate social media entrepreneurs are all set to take their venture to the next level. They have already collaborated with the brands like Vigo India (formerly hipster), Vedantika Herbals, SLAP Popcorns, APRRUS Modak collections, ASAP cereal bars, Decandenz, the finch, and ASUS India. We interviewed them to know more about their background and to understand their vision.

Lets have a look at the excerpts:

Why did you guys choose entrepreneurship?

I am an IHM graduate, working under a big chain of hotels and following the love for food. A love which is truly beyond hunger. After completing the Management Training programme I opted to go for Bakery & Patisserie and decided to make my career in desserts. The various cuisines and food preparation is my source of attraction to food blogging. I am aware that people can make a lot of money from blogging, so let’s hope for the best… fingers crossed!! I am a coffee drinker, my life is simple and tasty. I enjoy lots of fresh, healthy and as well as junk food, plus full treats without guilt. Through this venture, we are trying to follow our passion in the form of a side hustle. This is actually what we love and enjoy the most.

And about Psycho, he is a graduate from Delhi University (Hons. in Applied Psychology from Delhi University). He Started working from a very young age, he started taking workshops and seminars on mind power, memory power, yoga, tarot cards. Apart from being a die-hard foodie, he is also a tarot card reader, clinical hypnotherapist, reiki healer and a practitioner trainer. The various presentation of food and different ways of styling grabs his attention towards blogging.

What gets you guys out of bed in the morning i.e. what’s your source of motivation?

Honestly, its food… We also check out various VLOGS and BLOGS which also inspires us to reach a step closer towards our goals.

Why should people check your blog and how can you help them?

See, people always want something new. And in this era of social media, there are many more other bloggers and influencers sitting with great content and with good ideas. So we focus on the question that what people actually want? In our case of Food Blogging, it can be Taste, Hygiene or Nutrition.

We try our best to show up the best places which serves the best dishes. Tasting from street foods to quick service cafes and to fine dining restaurants, we taste the food & give our honest reviews and opinion about it. This is what people want.

What challenges/obstacles did you face in your journey so far?

If we talk about challenges, the very thing is the knowledge about blogging and various blogs, learning the proper techniques and other tips are important. Lucky to have a blogger buddy who guided us a lot and we are still learning. Now the next challenge is the content. We sometimes have to do a market survey, we should know what all cuisines are popular these days, what all types of food is preferred by the youths, kids as well as adults.

Tell our audience more about your failures? How should one bounce back?

I think it’s very important to accept that failures are a part of your journey towards success. Don’t just get disappointed from them, take it as a lesson and start again. By this, you’ll never repeat that mistake and it will add on as an experience.

What comes first for you – money or emotions?

Obviously, money is important, but once a wise man said that MONEY CAN’T BUY HAPPINESS. Emotions are very important for any individual, it helps to express our feelings towards something which we love the most. In our case, we value emotions more as of now, Food can control your emotions. Food can make you go from sad to happy in no time. And the main thing is to follow your goals and dreams, the money will automatically follow back.

What would you consider to be your biggest achievement in your journey so far as a Blogger?

We were the official food influencers of VIGO INDIA and we believe that doing better every day is the key to happiness and satisfaction, and the hard work reflects through that only.

Have you worked/collaborate with brands? If yes, name a few brands you worked with.

We have collaborated with Vigo India (formerly hipster), Vedantika Herbals, SLAP Popcorns, APRRUS Modak collections, ASAP cereal bars, Decandenz, the finch, ASUS India, Delhi Food Truck Festival and more…rest we always explore restros and cafes for the best food.

What is your primary income source?

Sadly it’s not blogging. As of now, it is our side hustle. We both are into our professional career, so that’s our primary source of income. But whatever we earn from blogging is like a cherry on the cake which we always prefer for more and more and more. Most importantly, it is our passion and this is what makes the journey meaningful.

How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?

Hahaha! that was the question we were waiting for. See we started our blogging career one and a half year back and it’s still a long way to go. We both take out time from our professional life and spend quality time in search of lip-smacking food. So in such cases, stress and pressure are common. Do something productive and eat healthy food. Take good sleep and try to manage both personal and professional life.

What advice would you give to someone starting out?

Don’t focus primarily on money or investments but keep your focus on creating content and seeking for your goals.

I believe, rest things will automatically set with time. If you are new into something, check with the experienced persons, ask for the help. Learn more and something new every day.

Keep Going on! Focus on the content and never give up!! Doesn’t matter if your likes are low or followers are less… these are just the ups and downs… one day all your hard work will pay off.
