Mubaarak

As part of our relentless pursuit to identify and share with our community some of the unique and compelling startup stories from the ecosystem, this week we spoke to Sagar and Dhwani Vipani to understand more about their journey, their vision and the way forward. Let’s read their unique story!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Sagar and Dhwani:

We are aware of your contribution to the ecosystem, tell us a little bit about your organisation and the problems you guys are solving, please;

Mubaarak by The Brand Owl Studio is where the celebration is brought to life in moments & memories! A bit of artsy and a handful of love, blended through our stationery designing services to let the occasions of your life be celebrated in the most thoughtful way!

The wedding planning industry is evolving every day and everyone dreams to celebrate their BIG day in their way, from announcing the date to thanking the guests for being there.”

Though our clients come with thoughts and vague references of wedding stationaries, we understand their thought and craft them thoughtfully in designs. Every work we deliver is beyond work for clients, it’s a contribution to their special day in our creative way because it’s one in a lifetime moment and we know how emotionally our clients are rooted to this day. We ensure every wedding stationery delivered is exactly how our clients wished to communicate this celebration!

Mubaarak

‘Mubaarak’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please.

‘Mubaarak’, the name itself means ‘Auspicious’ and is rooted to the tradition of auspicious beginnings.

The word ‘Mubaarak’ travelled all the way from a city tour we took to Jaipur in 2021. The beauty of a reception hall ‘Mubaarak Mahal’ in the City Palace built in the late 19th Century left us inspired to bring home and start up a project that crafts tales of togetherness with a palette of hues that celebrate moments and cherish memories.

During this COVID-19 crisis, what are the measures you have undertaken to continue your business without disruption?

While the world was fighting in their way to sustain themselves in the Pandemic, we were building our thoughts and planning to launch ‘Mubaarak’, isn’t it surprising? Yes, we’re just one year old! Mubaarak made it to the wedding industry in the year 2021.

We were unsure of a lot of things but we only knew we are going to make it work with our plans by turning them to actions. Today we celebrate 50+ clientele in India and the US who believed in us for their BIG day.”

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives the team?

Cherishing the happy faces of our clients when the work is delivered to them simply keeps us going and growing no matter what! Every business has its share of days but working with the right kind of people who stand by us is really important.

We have always built our relationship with our employees beyond a team; we rather chose to build a family of like-minded people and we are grateful to have a team that foresees growth with us.

Please share with us about your expansion plans?

It’s been a year of inception and we pride ourselves to deliver our work in India and the US but this is just the beginning!

We envision making our mark globally and letting the world know how aesthetically beautiful Indian culture is!”

What has worked well for you so far?

Transforming the template-driven industry with our signature process is by far our strength. We all take inspiration but reimagining to build a concept infused with creativity and thoughtfulness is what makes us stand apart from the rest. With every service we offer, we talk about the intricacy of celebrations and the emotions felt, we strike a chord with our work that’s subtly settling in the minds of our clients.

What is one strategy that you guys believe has helped you grow as a team/startup?

We are always on the go to create concepts and launch them for customization as per the client’s requirements. Each concept is conceptualized on the heels of exhaustive research before being fabricated with utmost innovation.

In your opinion, what is more necessary: An idea or a good team for a successful startup?

It is always the union of ideas and a team that executes it.

For a business like ours that demands being unique to create our space, brainstorming ample of ideas won’t be of use if they are not executed by the right skill set.

What advice would you give students and young professionals who want to have a successful career?

Find your passion, have a clear vision, believe in yourself and the people you work with, take the risk and foremost thing, challenge yourself and you are halfway there to achieving your aspirations!
