As part of this endeavour, we invited Dr Shivani Sharma for an exclusive interview with us. Dr Shivani is an Energy Healer, Access Bars & Body Whispering Practitioner, Theta & Pranic Healing Expert. Let’s learn more about her background, journey and her advice for our community!
Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Dr Shivani:
Your journey moved from a conventional path to deep emotional and energy healing — what triggered this shift?
I began my journey with meditation during my school years. At that time, it was simply a tool to improve focus and concentration, which positively impacted my academics and eventually led me to Shri Ram College of Commerce.
Over time, this practice supported me through major milestones — from clearing the Junior Research Fellowship to navigating my Ph.D. with greater clarity and less stress. Even physically, I noticed that my recovery from illness felt faster and more effortless.
However, the real turning point came during the COVID period. Alongside medical care, I began offering consistent healing sessions, and many people reported feeling calmer, experiencing better oxygen stability, and recovering more smoothly.
Witnessing this transformation during such a challenging time deepened my understanding of healing — that it can support physical, emotional, and mental well-being together.
What started as a personal practice gradually became a deeper calling. I went on to train in modalities like Crystal Healing, Access Consciousness Bars, Theta Healing, and Body Whispering — each adding a new dimension to my work.
You combine science-backed approaches like CBT and subconscious reprogramming with healing — how do you balance logic and spirituality?
For me, logic and spirituality are not opposites — they complement each other.
I use structured, evidence-based approaches like cognitive and behavioral techniques to help people understand their thought patterns. Alongside that, I work with deeper layers — the subconscious mind, body awareness, and energy-based practices.
Science provides clarity and structure. Healing practices create emotional release and deeper transformation.
Interestingly, modern research in fields like energy psychology shows that integrating cognitive techniques with body-based methods can create measurable changes in brain activity, stress hormones, and emotional patterns.
The mind can explain a pattern, but the body holds the experience. When both are addressed together, people don’t just understand their challenges — they feel the shift.
That’s where real transformation happens.
For someone completely new, how would you explain energy healing in a simple, relatable way?
Energy healing sounds complex, but it’s actually very simple.
Everything around us is energy — our thoughts, emotions, and even the spaces we enter.
For example, if you walk into a room where there has been an argument, you can feel the tension instantly — without anyone saying a word. Similarly, being around a calm person or in a peaceful place makes you feel relaxed.
That’s energy.
Stress, fear, and emotions don’t just stay in the mind — they get stored in the body as tightness, fatigue, or heaviness. Energy healing helps release this stored emotional load, allowing the body and mind to relax and return to balance.
Scientifically, some approaches within energy psychology combine emotional processing with physical stimulation (like tapping), which can influence the nervous system and stress response.
It’s not something mystical — it’s simply helping your body feel safe enough to let go.
Many people feel stuck in repeating emotional patterns — how does energy healing help break these cycles?
Emotional patterns repeat because they are not just mental — they are stored in the body and subconscious.
When an experience is not fully processed, it becomes an internal pattern. So when a similar situation arises, the mind and body react the same way — almost automatically.
Energy healing works by gently releasing these stored imprints.
As the nervous system relaxes and emotional blocks dissolve, people often experience clarity, lightness, and greater resilience.
Rather than just managing symptoms, it works at the root level — helping transform the patterns themselves.
That’s when real, lasting change begins.
What are the most common emotional challenges your clients face today?
Most people today are not dealing with just one emotion — they’re carrying layers.
The most common challenges include:
> Anxiety and overthinking
> Emotional burnout and exhaustion
> Difficulty relaxing or sleeping
> Lack of clarity and self-trust
We’re also seeing a rise in emotional challenges among children — including fear, anger, and low self-confidence.
From a broader perspective, mental health concerns like anxiety and depression are increasing globally, highlighting the need for more holistic approaches that address both mind and body.
These challenges are not weaknesses — they are signals that something within needs attention, healing, and release.
You talk about rewiring subconscious patterns — what does that look like in a real session?
Rewiring the subconscious is not about forcing positive thinking — it’s about gently releasing what no longer serves you.
In a session, we begin by identifying the repeating pattern — whether it’s anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship struggles.
As we work, subconscious beliefs and emotional responses begin to surface naturally.
Using modalities like Theta Healing and Access Consciousness, we release limiting beliefs. Through body-based work, we help the nervous system relax.
When the body feels safe, the subconscious becomes more open — allowing deeper emotional release.
Over time, clients notice:
– Triggers feel less intense
– Reactions become softer
– Decisions feel easier
The shift is not forced — it unfolds organically.
Can you share a powerful transformation story from your work?
There have been many, but two stand out deeply.
1. Pregnancy Anxiety (Theta Healing) – A client who practiced sessions before delivery shared that her anxiety reduced significantly. Her second delivery was smooth, lasted only 3 hours, and involved much less pain compared to her first.
2. Multiple Sclerosis (Crystal Healing + Counselling) – Another client reported improved coordination, better stamina, emotional stability, and increased confidence in physical activity after consistent sessions.
These experiences reinforce that healing, when approached holistically and consistently, can support transformation across multiple levels.
There’s still skepticism around energy healing — what would you say to someone who doesn’t believe in it?
I don’t try to convince anyone — I respect skepticism.
Energy healing has historically been questioned because concepts like “subtle energy” are not easily measurable with current tools, and remain debated in the scientific community.
At the same time, modern research shows that combining cognitive and body-based approaches can influence emotional regulation, brain activity, and stress responses.
So instead of belief, I invite curiosity.
Experience it. Notice how you feel before and after.
Sometimes, your own experience gives you more clarity than any explanation.
What daily practice can someone start with to feel more balanced?
Start simple.
a) Sit quietly for a few minutes
b) Close your eyes and take slow, deep breaths
c) Notice where your body feels tight or heavy
d) Place your hand there and breathe gently
This signals safety to your nervous system.
Also, practice:
a) Abdominal breathing (like infants)
b) A simple mantra from Access Consciousness: “All of life comes to me with ease, joy, and glory.”
c) Forgiveness — towards yourself and others
Even a few minutes daily can create a noticeable shift.
What does true healing mean to you personally?
To me, true healing is not about becoming someone else — it’s about coming home to yourself.
It’s when:
– Your mind feels quieter
– Your body feels lighter
– You respond instead of react
Life will still have ups and downs — but they won’t shake you the same way.
Healing is wholeness.
It’s feeling grounded, present, and at ease within yourself — no matter what life brings.
