Team The Successful Woman

In our relentless pursuit to identify and share with our community some of the unique and compelling startup stories from the ecosystem, this week we spoke to Team TSW (The Successful Woman) to understand more about their journey, their vision and the way forward.

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with the team:

Tell us a little bit about the initiative “The Successful Woman”?

“The Successful Woman” platform TSW as we call it was born out of Passion to be a global movement to help women unlock their next level of personal growth. This is about achieving holistic success in all areas of life. This platform is based on the integrated experience of more than 40 years, deep research and the biggest insights we have learnt from life and from our mentors.

The Successful Woman empowers, professional and ambitious women to create the life and lifestyle they truly desire so they can experience holistic success.”

The fundamentals for success education are not taught in mainstream education and based on this our philosophy is to provide proven insights and tools based on the three main pillars of mindset heart set and soul set. When these are enhanced and combined they impact all aspects of life experiences.

The founder of TSW is Ron Malhotra who is a world-class mentor thought leader, best selling author and global speaker, a wealth specialist and business advisor who is very passionate about women empowerment.”

‘The Successful Woman’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what made you start this initiative?

The passion to serve women comes from life experiences of Namrita Chandi and Joanna James the Chief Ambassadors, who have predominantly worked in male-dominated domains. We believe an empowered woman creates positive change for her family, her career, her community and the world.

Joanna James is from Australia and Namrita Chandi is from India. So this platform is all about inclusion and diversity while focussing on commonalities that we women face, our challenges and the feminine power we need to connect with. It is said that

“There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling. That’s why you were born”

Joanna and Namrita realised that we spend the prime time of our lives preparing for our careers. But we hardly spend time preparing for things that determine the quality of our life and life experiences, the quality of our relationships, health, mindset and well being.

We are all born with the power to do amazing things in life and yet 99% of us get beaten into settling into mediocrity. So we aim to optimise personal transformation so we can collectively and effectively evolve as a tribe of timeless, elegant, beautiful, powerful and successful women.

During this COVID-19 crisis, what are the measures you have undertaken to continue to connect with women?

Well, we started in April 2020 during the lockdown. We are on Social Media and have been able to connect with women across the globe as we see this community growing fast. We run free masterclass and online mentoring programs for women who wish to attain clarity to maximise their potential and identify their life’s purpose and passion.

The Chief Ambassadors of TSW come from Diverse backgrounds. Tell us more about them, please.

What challenges do you think women are facing today?

Women face many challenges. As we interact with women across the globe we have realised is that the biggest challenge they face is getting stuck after a certain stage in life.

They feel lost, have no direction and tend to lose their inner power. This is the most difficult phase and it sets in after they have reached a certain stage. They get into a downward spiral. We call this stage “Slippery Slope”. This manifests due to many reasons. Women, in particular, often have a number of self-limiting beliefs that prevent them from taking steps forward.

A poor self-image, relatively low expectations from life and much less confidence in themselves and their abilities is the cause of many issues. Fear is another issue with women. They have all kinds of fear from fear of the unknown, fear of rejection, fear of not being loved, fear of growing old etc.

At work, women have a tendency to credit circumstance or other people for their success. Women fail to own their achievements for fear of contravening feminine roles by being perceived as immodest, competitive or boastful.”

Whereas women tend to attribute failure to their lack of intrinsic capability or effort, men tend to blame failure on external circumstances like the difficulty of the task. This erodes their self-esteem and self-confidence.

Women are nurturers which is a wonderful quality. They invest in others through physical care, teaching, coaching, mentoring, connecting, advising and navigating and this work is every bit as hard, important and rewarding. But this becomes an issue when they put themselves as last in their own priority list and they don’t realise there is more individualistic work on investing in themselves that is required to be done.

These are some of the many challenges that women are facing today.

Why it’s important to build a tribe of Successful Women?

Who we surround ourselves with is a good indicator of who we will become. Women who are good at what they do often got there by surrounding themselves with others who were already achieving.

These types of women will most likely push others to be their best and to accomplish more than they might on their own. Whether their dream is to become a CEO of a large company, a nurse, or a mother, they will be benefited by being around women who are living it out already. This is an opportunity we provide at TSW for women to grow and learn and unleash their potential.

At TSW we are always fascinated by what makes people the way they are. We want to spread the message as to what it is that successful women do differently that sets them apart, so others can get inspired by them.

So we celebrate other women’s successes which benefits everyone involved. This is powerful and can help motivate others to be the same. We have live sessions and podcasts every weekend with an incredible woman around the globe who can inspire others.

These are some women who are going after something big, who are believing in who they are and they encourage others to do the same. By embracing their achievements we let their stories become models for others to embrace successes. Their confidence and passion are contagious, so it starts an outbreak of women who begin to believe in their own greatness.
