Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Abhishek:

We are aware of your contribution to the ecosystem, talk us through your background and your journey as an entrepreneur, please;

I did my schooling from Dibrugarh Bengali Higher Secondary School, was in a small town called Dibrugarh at Assam. Pursued my law degree from the Department of Law, Calcutta University (Hazra Campus).

From my college days itself, I was passionate about legal practice and thus I became an intern under a Lawyer practising in District Court only, just after passing my first year of Degree course. By the time I have passed my LL.B and learned about procedural Law.”

I have always been very passionate about doing everything of my own in respect of my Legal profession, which made me competent not only to understand Law properly but also to control the process as per the convenience of my client.

After that, I graduated from college, I joined the office of an Advocate in District Court in Kolkata. But very soon I realised my passion and chose the capital of the country (Delhi & NCR) as my place of work.

With the blessings of my parents and God and the help of my other partners, I have established one of the most promising Law Firm of Delhi & NCR called ‘Wise Solution Law Firm'”

What attracts you towards entrepreneurship instead of a corporate career?

Have you seen the movie “300”? I have seen it 300 times.

When you wish to be a KING, You need to fight, fight for your independence.

I always wanted to be independent and to make an impact on society and thus I am here today.

It’s actually impactful, how you build something from scratch to build an empire of your own. In my house, I am the first person in our generation who even thought of and actually came out from the comfort of home.”

‘Wise Solution Law Firm’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving?

We always tried to be wise to our clients regarding providing solutions to their legal problems.

My company expertise in the following domains:

1 – Matrimonial cases

2 – Domestic violence

3 – Consumer grievance

4 – Medical negligence matters

5 – Criminal Cases and many more.

During this COVID-19 crisis, what are the measures you have undertaken to continue your business without disruption?

In this pandemic, as a lawyer, our duty enhanced. We never stop consulting our clients. We did meetings virtually to satisfy the needs of the client. It’s a constant learning process. That’s the beauty of it – there is so much to imbibe every day. I learnt more about legal strategies and made new connections.

We filed the cases through e-filling in different courts and also able to appear in different Court proceedings and got some very good favourable Orders from the court.

What are the business mantras you have embraced as you sought to establish your success story?

‘Be solution-oriented, Quick redressal of the issue, ensure clients should be delighted.”

Determination, leadership and confidence is my mantra in life.

Besides that, you should have a well-thought plan and a clear vision in your mind. Your mind plays an important role in your life. People start a business without any future plans and vision.

Give yourself some time to think and write down future plans and vision. The risks involved and how will you overcome them. The market is full of opportunities but you have to grasp them wisely. There would be a failure too but you can overcome if you have undertaken the risks initially. Be determined in your lows.

How do you manage yourself and keep on going despite the challenges? What drives you?

I have always been passionate to provide the best legal support. I have always wanted to ensure that my client gets the best service in the industry which we only can offer. I feel it is important both to me and for the firm and for the clients to provide a positive client experience.

What are the three most important lessons you have learned building your startup?

1 – Never give up attitude.

2 – Positive mindset.

3 – Awareness of the latest technology.

Building a network is one of the most important aspects, you can do to advance your career. The next step is to learn how to expand, maintain and use it effectively.

They, may also help one another, solve work-related problems, recommend clients and provide information about prospective clients.

Compatible with technology – Technology plays the most vital and important roles in communication. It allows you to communicate with your team members and clients without which you can’t be efficient and timely.

Savings – Every business has dry reasons when is drained. It provides a financial cushion during economic downturns. It gives one peace of mind and helps to enjoy financial freedom in crisis.

In your opinion, what is more necessary: An idea or a good team for a successful startup?

In my opinion, it should be a good team to execute any of the plan or idea successfully. “A great Team” always works together. A team with the right skill, mindset and that you can count on in all scenarios to be focused and goal-oriented is much more important than a great idea. Ultimately teamwork allows room for fresh ideas and new perspectives. When a good team works together, it fosters creativity and innovation in the workplace. A great team communicates and they reach the ultimate point of success.

Please share with us – what has worked well for you so far?

Throughout these years of my career, I have constantly maintained relationships for the growth of the business. You can’t sustain yourself in the market without a business network. Until the client comes to know about the business, one can only then approaches you.

The second approach which I seek is that the judgement or verdict should always be in my client’s favour. Client satisfaction plays a vital role. Always take feedback from your client.

You are always positive and motivated, what keeps you going?

It’s my relationship with my family, friends team members, clients, business partners and the emotions to deliver wise solutions to my clients.

Beside all this I also in love with my profession.

We would love to know your advice for all those starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur?

You just need to start.

Work on the idea and the business plans, the capital, how to create brand awareness. You should have a vision and passion to achieve it. The risks are high in business so prepare for yourself well. Never fear to take initiative and make mistakes. Keep learning and be updated.

Take reviews from your clients. Keep an eye on the changing market, the needs of the clients and adapt yourself accordingly. When you are in business you have to make new relations meet new people.

You can’t afford to be shy when you are an entrepreneur. Public speaking is one of the attributes you should develop. So all the best for future entrepreneurs and be passionate.
