Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Ananya;
Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?
I am a Tarot Reader, Tarot Coach, EFT Tapping & Talking Therapist, Reiki Healer and Art Therapy Practitioner.
I used to work as a 3D artist and I studied in Whistling Woods International College in Mumbai. Well, I thought that’s my Goal to be a 3D artist. But that’s when a twist in life came in.
My spiritual awakening happened at the age of 20 and college was still going on. My Interest started developing a lot towards spirituality and I started seeing the world from a whole different perspective. The universe started interacting with me through different means, phrases, symbols, objects, etc.
When I started working as a 3D artist, I noticed that my interest towards my job started to drift away. I understood that Divine wanted me to focus on my gifts and my purpose which is to help the HUMANITY through spiritual modalities. To help them realize who they truly are which will eventually simplify their life.
How did you discover your passion?
I was a believer and I still am. But the interesting part is that the spiritual path selects us. Everything in the spiritual path goes reverse. Unlike the 3D materialistic world where we select a certain goal like being a doctor, engineer, writer, etc, in the Spiritual path, the divine sends a modality to us believing that it’s the right time for us to learn to push us towards our purpose.
My first modality was TAROT READING. And that’s how I slowly started feeling connected to several modalities, bringing me closer to my purpose. The spiritual path is mysterious and there are so many things we don’t know about and that’s what increased the passion and the fire within me.
How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?
I am a Devotee of Sri Radha Krishna. The truth of this devotion is that we don’t choose Krishna, Krishna chooses us. Sri Radha Krishna choosing us and pushing us into this path with the belief that we will help and guide people to the right path is what pushes me to keep working even though there are challenges. Nothing can be as powerful as the BELIEF GOD has in us.
Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?
My Parents and my best friend Mousumi Karmakar. They played an immense role in keeping a smile on my face and increasing my willpower when I felt low. Mousumi always enlightened me when I felt down since we both are on the same path. My parents keep increasing the courage and self-belief within me.
What are some of the strategies that you believe have helped you grow as a person?
There are a few:
> Doing Activities which is uncomfortable/scared to do
> Being Conscious. In that way, your ego won’t take control over you.
> Take risks and being receptive towards every situation
> Not to worry about output.
> Working on myself by observing people around me. Because People around you are your projection.
> Believing in myself. Stop finding Validation from others.
> Staying connected with the divine.
> JUST BEING ME and accepting both my dark and light sides. That’s how you will love yourself
In your opinion what are the keys to success?
There are a few points to keep in mind:-
– Stay connected to people who are already experienced.
– Surround yourself with like-minded people.
– Don’t compete with others, compete with yourself
– Get out of your comfort zone
– Consistency
– Don’t wait, just start
– Do a job that your heart tells you to do
– Be a learner
– Be a good listener
– Very important – have patience
What advice would you give to our readers?
Spirituality is a vast subject, therefore these are the advices that can be used for every modality:-
~ When working on a spiritual path keep in mind, do not work for the sake of getting money. When you keep in mind your purpose and your mission, money will automatically follow you.
~ Be extremely honest with the clients no matter what modality you are using. All these modalities are divine tools and gifts which should be used with the intention of guiding and helping people. Keep intention pure.
~ Believe in your intuition. This is very important. Meditate and stay connected with your inner voice. Your intuition will increase day by day.
~ Practice your modality (for example Tarot, dice, healing, etc) to stay connected with your modality.
~ Learn to be a Listener and non-judgmental. Provide compassion to people who are reaching out to you. They deeply need a person who can provide them with a safe zone to open up.
~ Be receptive to GOD. That is when God will send you more modalities to learn.
~ Don’t try to be perfect. No one in this world is perfect. Everyone has their own specialty.
~ Therefore, do not compete with others as well. COMPETE YOURSELF.
~ Keep Healing yourself and do all your shadow work. That’s when you will be able to heal others.
~ MAINTAIN HEALTHY BOUNDARIES with everyone.
~ Once you start your own business, keep in mind, from that day on, YOU ARE THE BOSS!!
Last but not least, what about your journey makes it satisfying/exciting?
My spiritual journey is so beautiful that after helping someone when I read their beautiful feedback about my service, it makes me more and more confident. It gives me happiness, joy and hope regarding my own capabilities.
Other than services, in this journey, I get to see miracles god does in my life. We get to know ourselves even deeper, as to who are we truly, what is our true power, how can we use it for the humanity, how can we awaken it and so much more.
Spirituality is a path where you get to see the REALITY of this world we are living in. Moving closer towards bliss and union with God.
