Let’s learn more about her inspiring journey, background, and advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Tarang:

Talk us through your background and your journey as a women entrepreneur, please;

I graduated from Delhi University’s Miranda House pursued Organizational Behavior at Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh, Scotland.

Apart from my experience in several enterprises such as Textile & Indian garments, I also have been a teacher at Sunflower Nursery School.

What attracts you towards entrepreneurship instead of a corporate career?

I never actually planned to be either of these.

Working with my daughter for her Art Portfolio is when I realized that there is no platform in Mumbai, not one place where I can find a mentor and teacher of that level that could help my daughter achieve her goals.

Her interest in pursuing Arts led me to search for a facilitator to guide her with an artistic vision and creation.

However, when I struggled to find the right stop, I decided to help many others who may be in the same puddle and launched “Artiste360 – The Art School”.

‘Artiste360’ is such a unique name; talk us through more about it, please. Our audience would also love to know what kind of problem you are solving?

We are a pure Art School aiming to build artistic mindsets in children by exposing them to international standards of art and shaping them into creative, independent thinkers and creators through various artistic mediums.

The workshops and courses conducted by the school focus on bringing out the creativity in children and polishing them further.

All the programs are curated by the Artiste360 team comprising of eminent artists both on national and international levels. These programs not only build a creative mindset but also have been designed for students to create powerful pieces for their art portfolio.

What does your company specialize in?

We are a pure Art School aiming to build artistic mindsets in children by exposing them to international standards of art and shaping them into creative, independent thinkers and creators through various artistic mediums.

The workshops and courses conducted by the school focus on bringing out the creativity in children and polishing them further.

Programs like architecture and filmmaking for school students help them decide what program to choose for their career.

During this COVID-19 crisis, what are the measures you have undertaken to continue your business without disruption?

At the time of the pandemic, everybody was shutting down. And within a week I decided to create an online platform. It took me almost 3 months to create this platform and to my surprise, I received a very positive response from my students.

How do you manage to keep going despite the challenges? What drives you?

I have to share what happened one day, I was in a group meeting and somebody was talking about me.

What she said I totally agree with, she said that Tarang either says Yes or No. There are known IF’S or BUT’S.

Who do you believe has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

So, my biggest source of motivation is definitely my family. It would not have been possible without the support of my husband, my son, my daughter, my father-in-law, and the blessing of so many well-wishers.

Given the rapid pace at which the world is changing, what are the leadership traits that are necessary for success?

– Capable to take decisions

– Can lead his\her team

– Can be trusted

– Can think in an adverse situation
